Titans' Arden Key: Logs fifth sack of season
Key finished Sunday's 23-13 loss to Minnesota with five solo tackles, including 1.0 sacks.
Key and Kenneth Murray were the only two Titans to sack Sam Darnold on Sunday, with Key's taking place midway through the fourth quarter for an eight-yard loss. Key is 1.5 sacks shy from matching his career best with the 49ers in 2022. Through 10 regular-season games, Key has logged 26 tackles (20 solo), including 5.0 sacks, one pass defense, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Titans' Arden Key: Returns to practice Thursday
Key (back) was a full participant during Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Key was held out of Wednesday's practice due to a back injury, but that doesn't appear to be an issue as he was able to participate in Thursday's session without restrictions. Key has logged 4.0 sacks through nine regular-season games, which is second most on the Titans behind Harold Landry (5.0).

Titans' Arden Key: Dealing with back injury
Key (back) did not practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Key finished this past Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Chargers with two solo tackles, but he appears to have picked up a back injury in the process. He'll have two more chances this week to practice and avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Vikings. In the five regular-season games since the Titans' Week 5 bye, Key has logged 13 tackles (nine solo), including 4.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Titans' Arden Key: Forces critical turnover vs. Pats
Key logged two solo tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble during Sunday's 20-17 overtime win over New England.
Key made a pivotal play during the Titans' win Sunday. He sacked Drake Maye for a seven-yard loss early in the fourth quarter, stripping the ball in the process that was picked up by Jeffery Simmons. That eventually led to a six-yard touchdown pass from Mason Rudolph to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine five plays later to give the Titans a one-touchdown lead. All 4.0 of Key's sacks during the regular season have come over the Titans' last three games.

Titans' Arden Key: Logs two more sacks vs. Detroit
Key recorded six total tackles (three solo), including 2.0 sacks, in Sunday's 52-14 loss to the Lions.
The 28-year-old was one of three Titans to get after the quarterback in Sunday's blowout loss, taking down Jared Goff twice in the first quarter. Key has begun to heat up after a slow start to his 2024 campaign, having now recorded 17 total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, defended one pass and forced one fumble through Tennessee's first seven games. He's expected to continue starting opposite Harold Landry as part of the Titans' top edge-rushing duo for the remainder of the season.

Titans' Arden Key: Gets first sack of season
Key recorded two tackles (two solo) including 1.0 sacks during Sunday's 34-10 loss at Buffalo.
It took until Week 7, but Key was finally able to put a notch in the sack column in what was otherwise a dismal day for the Titans' defense. Because Tennessee is so often playing from behind, Key hasn't gotten as many opportunities to rush the passer up to this point in 2024 as in seasons past.
