The Titans waived Simmons (undisclosed) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Simmons reverted to Tennessee's IR after going unclaimed on waivers in late August, but he's been removed from IR after agreeing to an injury settlement Wednesday. The 2020 seventh-round pick's last regular-season action came in 2021 with Chicago, where he appeared in two games and made one start.

Simmons was waived/injured by the Cardinals on Aug. 21, but he ended up clearing waivers and reverting back to the team's IR. The two parties have since come to an injury settlement, making the 26-year-old a free agent. Simmons' last in-game action was in 2021 with Chicago.
