Peart is now fully recovered from the knee injury that landed him on the Broncos' injured reserve last October. The 28-year-old will likely serve as the team's backup left tackle behind Garett Bolles during the upcoming season.

The Broncos placed Peart (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Peart started at left guard Sunday against the Jets after the Broncos placed starter Ben Powers (biceps) on injured reserve Saturday. Denver will now be down to its third-stringer at the position. The team signed Calvin Throckmorton off the practice squad, and he'll be an option along with Alex Palczewski.

Peart signed a one-year contract with the Broncos on Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Peart spent the first four seasons of his career with the Giants after being selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, the 26-year-old has mostly operated in a reserve role, starting just seven games for the Giants during that time. He'll likely be a depth option at tackle for Denver in 2024.
