Dye finished the 2025 regular season with 58 tackles (28 solo), including 1.0 sacks, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 16 games.
The inside linebacker also made two tackles (one solo) in the Chargers' playoff loss to the Patriots. Dye made seven starts in his 16 regular-season appearances. In each of the last two campaigns with the Chargers, he has finished with more than 50 tackles, but he has yet to secure a consistent starting role.

Dye (hip) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
The veteran linebacker from Oregon opened the Chargers' week of practice with consecutive DNPs, but following Friday's limited session, he's got a chance to play Sunday. Dye has appeared in 12 games for Los Angeles this season, recording 51 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and two passes defensed. If he's sidelined in Week 15, Del'Shawn Phillips would likely operate as the Chargers' top reserve inside linebacker.

Dye recorded one tackle during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.
Dye was a tackling machine during fellow linebacker Denzel Perryman's five-game absence with an ankle injury, but Dye played only 24 of the Chargers' 49 defensive snaps in Week 8, signaling his role may have shrunk with Perryman's return.
