D'Eriq King: Cut from practice squad
The Panthers released King from their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
King joined Carolina's practice squad last Monday, but he didn't get much of an opportunity to make an impression on the organization. The former University of Miami quarterback will now look to latch on with another team, presumably on a practice-squad deal.

D'Eriq King: Joins Carolina's practice squad
Carolina signed King to its practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
King joined the Patriots this offseason as an undrafted free agent, but he was waived in mid-May. The Miami product will get his next NFL opportunity with the Panthers, who've dealt with quarterback controversy all season.

King was waived by the Patriots on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
King signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 1. The Miami product now will work to get a chance elsewhere this offseason.
