Ravens' Justice Hill: Two carries and two targets in loss
Hill rushed twice for six yards and caught two targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.
Hill was on the field for 27 of the Ravens' 58 offensive snaps. The running back saw usage as both runner and receiver, providing a fast contrast to Derrick Henry's bulk. It appears Hill may be on track for more consistent complementary opportunities than last season behind Derrick Henry in Baltimore's new offense.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Sees seven touches in Week 1 victory
Hill turned six carries into 18 yards and added a 10-yard catch during the Ravens' 41-23 win over the Colts on Sunday.
Hill saw an uptick in usage in the fourth quarter with the Ravens firmly in control of the game. He played 31 of 68 offensive snaps, which wasn't that far behind bell cow Derrick Henry's 37 snaps, though Hill is firmly entrenched as the Ravens' RB2, with Rasheen Ali being the distant third option. Hill will continue to serve as the change-of-pace back for the Ravens heading into Week 2 against the Saints on Sept. 20.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Backing up Henry in 2026
Hill is in line to be the No.2 running back on the Ravens' depth chart to open the 2026 season.
The veteran is in the final year of his contract after an injury-shortened 2025 that limited him to 10 regular-season games. Hill is also playing under a new coaching staff and an offensive coordinator, so it will be interesting to see whether his role evolves or other options emerge as Derrick Henry's backup. Hill has been healthy for the preseason and hasn't appeared in either preseason game, which is seemingly a good sign for his standing on the depth chart.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Taking part in OTAs
Hill (neck) is participating in OTAs this week.
Hill sustained a neck injury in practice leading up to Week 13 last season and spent the remainder of the 2025 campaign on injured reserve. He was inching closer to a return toward the end of last season, so it's fair to assume he's back to 100 percent. Hill is expected to once again serve as the pass-catching specialist out of the backfield behind Derrick Henry in 2026.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Gets 39 touches before IR stint
Hill (neck) rushed 18 times for 93 yards and two touchdowns while catching 21 of 27 targets for 169 yards and one touchdown across 10 appearances in 2025. He also had seven kickoff returns for 188 yards.
Hill held off Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali for the top change-of-pace role behind Derrick Henry while healthy but didn't play after Week 12 due to a neck injury. Henry, Hill and Ali are all under contract for 2026, and Mitchell is set to be a restricted free agent who could be retained with a qualifying offer. Baltimore will be bringing in a new coaching staff, but Hill's role seems unlikely to change much, assuming he makes a full recovery.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Coach optimistic for return in 2025
Head coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Hill (neck) coming back in Week 17 against the Packers or Week 18 against the Steelers is a "real possibility."
Hill will miss a fourth consecutive game while on injured reserve Sunday against the Patriots, but the change-of-pace running back could be back before the conclusion of the regular season. Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali have mixed in behind Derrick Henry during Hill's absence.
