49ers' Osa Odighizuwa: Practicing Thursday
Odighizuwa (undisclosed) was a participant in Thursday's training camp session, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Odighizuwa missed Wednesday's practice, but was promptly back in action for Thursday's session. The defensive end reclaimed his snaps with the first-team defense and looks to be over whatever was previously ailing him.

49ers' Osa Odighizuwa: Dealing with soreness
Odighizuwa (undisclosed) did not participate at the 49ers' training camp practice Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Odighizuwa underwent a clean-up procedure to address a lingering elbow injury during the offseason, but it's not clear whether that's related to his current status. Until he's able to practice again, rookie undrafted free agent Bryson Eason could see some practice reps with the first-team defensive line.

49ers' Osa Odighizuwa: Shipped to San Francisco in trade
The 49ers acquired Odighizuwa (elbow) from the Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
According to Todd Archer of ESPN.com, Odighizuwa had offseason surgery on his elbow, termed a clean-up procedure, that is not expected to affect his availability for the offseason program. A third-round pick in the 2021 Draft, Odighizuwa signed a new four-year, $80 million deal with Dallas last offseason. He appeared in all 17 regular-season games, making 13 starts, and has missed just one contest throughout his five-year career. During the 2025 campaign, Odighizuwa posted 44 tackles (16 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and he gives the Niners a needed boost to their defensive line.
