Greg Desrosiers: Joins LA's practice squad
The Chargers signed Desrosiers to the practice squad Monday.
The Chargers waived Desrosiers on Sunday. The running back cleared waivers and had a strong enough training camp to be invited to the team's practice squad. The undrafted free agent out of Memphis played in all three preseason games, rushing 23 times for 166 yards and a touchdown.

The Chargers waived Desrosiers on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Desrosiers participated in all three preseason games for the Chargers, logging 23 rushes for 166 yards and a touchdown. The undrafted free agent out of Memphis had a stellar preseason finale against the Rams on Thursday, accumulating 118 of his 166 total preseason rushing yards in the contest. If the running back can clear waivers, the Chargers plan to bring him back to the team on the practice squad.

Chargers' Greg Desrosiers: Scores touchdown in preseason finale
Desrosiers turned nine carries into 118 yards and a touchdown while logging one catch (on two targets) for eight yards during the Chargers' 20-18 loss to the Rams in Thursday's preseason game. He added one kickoff return for 29 yards.
Desrosiers saw most of his playing time in the second half. He made an immediate impact in the running game with carries of 15 and 14 yards in the third quarter before adding a 33-yard rush and a 34-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth frame. Desrosiers was responsible for four of the Chargers' 10 longest plays in Thursday's game and will finish the preseason with 23 carries for 166 yards (7.2 YPC) and a touchdown over three games. He probably won't make the team's 53-man roster by the end of training camp, but Desrosiers may have shown enough to stick around in Los Angeles as a member of the Chargers' practice squad.

Chargers' Greg Desrosiers: Signing with Chargers
The Chargers signed Desrosiers as an undrafted free agent Saturday.
Desrosiers began his collegiate career at UMass before transferring to Memphis in 2024 for his final two seasons. While it likely will be a long shot for him to make the final roster, he could have a chance to land on their practice squad.
