  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Ends 2025 on IR

Ogletree (IR, neck) finished his 2025 campaign with four receptions for 27 yards and one touchdown on six targets across 15 regular-season games. Ogletree was a pivotal special-teams player and blocking tight end for the Colts, logging 68 percent of snaps or better in every contest he played in until he suffered his neck injury. The 2022 sixth-round pick's injury came at an unfortunate time in his career, as Ogletree will be an unrestricted free agent come the new league year.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Lands on IR

The Colts placed Ogletree (neck) on injured reserve Saturday. Ogletree will miss at least Indianapolis' next four games due to a neck injury suffered during the team's Week 16 loss to San Francisco. If the Colts manage to somehow get into the playoffs and make a deep playoff run, the depth tight end could be a candidate to retake the field late January, though the Colts' chances of making the postseason are quite slim.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Out for Sunday

Ogletree (neck) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports. The Youngstown State product opened the Colts' week of practice with consecutive DNPs after sustaining a neck injury in the Week 16 loss to the 49ers, so it's no surprise that he won't play Sunday. Ogletree has appeared in 15 games this season, catching four of six targets for 27 yards and a touchdown. Expect Will Mallory to operate as Indianapolis' No. 3 tight end in Ogletree's stead in Week 17.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Listed as DNP to open Week 17 prep

The Colts listed Ogletree (neck) as a DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report. Ogletree sustained a neck injury during the Colts' loss to the 49ers on Sunday. The injury prevented him from participating in Wednesday's walkthrough, and the fourth-year tight end will have two more opportunities to return to practice ahead of Sunday's home game against the Jaguars.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Exits MNF with neck injury

Ogletree (neck) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the 49ers, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. It's unclear when Ogletree sustained the injury, but he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Mo Alie-Cox will see a small uptick in offensive snaps at tight end behind rookie Tyler Warren for as long as Ogletree is out of the game.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Nabs touchdown catch in loss

Ogletree had two receptions for eight yards, including a four-yard touchdown, on three targets in Sunday's loss at Kansas City. Ogletree's performance came out of nowhere as he had just one target all season before Sunday. He played about his usual number of snaps on offense (11 of 51), so this may be an outlier performance. However, the Colts were coming off a bye week, so there's a chance the coaching staff plan to make him more a part of the passing game going forward.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Gets time in blocking role

Ogletree did not have a reception or target in Sunday's win over Miami. He played on 27 of the offense's 73 snaps. Ogletree went out on just five routes as he's going to be almost exclusively a blocking tight end, with Tyler Warren becoming a focus in the passing game.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Two receptions in win

Ogletree had two receptions for 24 yards on two targets in Sunday's win at Tennessee. He played on 21 of the offense's 70 snaps (Mo Alie-Cox played 34 and Kylen Granson played 17) and had the second most targets (Alie-Cox had four) among tight ends. While Alie-Cox has had a few more targets with Joe Flacco at quarterback, the Colts continue to divide the workload relatively evenly between three our four tight ends, which limits Ogletree's upside.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Just one reception in loss

Ogletree had one reception for five yards on his only target in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville. Ogletree played on 26 of the offense's 70 snaps and went out on nine routes. The Colts continue to divide targets and snaps between multiple tight ends (Kylen Granson played 18 snaps, Mo Alie-Cox played 29, and Will Mallory played 16). Alie-Cox caught a touchdown in the loss where Ogletree caught a touchdown Week 4. As long as the workload is divided between three or four tight ends, none will have viable fantasy value for most formats.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: TD reception in win

Ogletree caught a 15-yard touchdown on his only target in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh. It was just Ogletree's second reception of the season, as Indy hasn't utilized tight ends in the passing game and splits targets among three tight ends. Ogletree played on just 24 of the offense's 66 snaps and went out on six routes. His minimal usage makes him a poor fantasy option despite the touchdown reception.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Quiet day

Ogletree played just 10 snaps on offense and didn't see a target in Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Texans. Ogletree's small role on offense isn't necessarily surprising, considering he's operating as the No. 3 man on the team's tight-end depth chart. He'll likely need an injury to Kylen Granson or Mo Alie-Cox to find himself as a larger part of the Colts' offense. However, he does remain a regular part of the team's special-teams unit.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Makes 53-man roster

Ogletree has made Indianapolis' 53-man roster. With Jelani Woods (toe) out for the season on IR, Olgetree will be part of a four-man committee at tight end that also includes Kylen Granson, Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory. Ogletree is probably the second or third receiving option among the quartet, with Alie-Cox primarily a blocking tight end.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Arrested Friday

Ogletree was arrested Friday in Hendricks County, Indiana on allegations of domestic violence, Stephen Holder of ESPN reports. Per the report, Ogletree was charged with a pair of level six felonies (domestic violence committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury) stemming from an incident Tuesday. In a statement released Friday, the Colts noted that they are aware of the allegations involving the tight end and "are in the process of gathering more information."

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Blanked despite significant role

Ogletree saw one target on 26 offensive snaps in Sunday's 31-28 overtime win at Tennessee but did not catch the pass. Despite pacing the Colts' tight ends in snaps in Week 13, Ogletree did not register in the box score. Although he has a dismal 50-percent catch rate, he's actually been relatively efficient on the few targets (18) he's drawn through nine games this season. Even so, he's on the heavy end (260 lbs.) even by tight end standards, so it makes some sense that Indianapolis has deployed him mostly as a blocker this year and will likely continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Missing another practice

Ogletree (foot) was not spotted at the early portion of Thursday's practice, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports. Ogletree looks on track to sit out another practice, though Thursday's session may well only be a walkthrough. The tight end hasn't played since Week 9, and though Indianapolis is coming off a bye, Ogletree may still require more time to get healthy. If he can't suit up against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Kylen Gransonand Mo Alie-Cox will stand to handle increased reps.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Not practicing

Ogletree (foot) isn't practicing Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. Ogletree missed the Colts' final game before a Week 11 bye and isn't ready for practice after the layoff. Another absence Sunday against Tampa Bay would leave more snaps for teammates Kylen Granson, Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Estimated as 'DNP' Wednesday

Ogletree (foot) was listed as a nonparticipant on the Colts' practice estimate Wednesday. Ogletree was forced out of Sunday's game at Carolina early with a foot injury, which is now also keeping him sidelined to begin Indianapolis' new week of practice. He'll probably have to return to practice Thursday or Friday to give himself a chance to play in Week 10.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Doesn't return Sunday

Ogletree (foot) didn't return to Sunday's game against the Panthers, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports. Ogletree was considered questionable to return to Sunday's game after sustaining a foot injury, but he was unavailable down the stretch. Whether he'll be available next Sunday against New England remains to be seen.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: No targets despite start

Ogletree started at tight end but was not targeted in Sunday's loss to Cleveland. Ogletree started at tight end with Kylen Granson out with a concussion and Jelani Woods (hamstring) still on injured reserve. He played on 42 of the offense's 70 snaps and went out on just 17 routes. Mo Alie-Cox had the only reception among tight ends in the loss, as they were needed as blockers against Cleveland's strong pass rush. Ogletree could be more active in the passing game next week against New Orleans, but he could also get less playing time if Granson or Woods is able to return to action.

  • Colts' Andrew Ogletree: Inactive for Week 2

Ogletree (coach's decision/concussion) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Colts. Ogletree cleared concussion protocols Saturday and didn't have an injury designation, but he still won't suit up Sunday. In his absence, Mo Alie-Cox will presumably see more snaps behind Kylen Granson, but rookie fifth-round pick Will Mallory is also available to make his NFL debut.
