Commanders' Brian Robinson: Struggles in tough matchup
Robinson was held to 16 yards on 10 carries while catching four of five targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.
Robinson failed to generate any running lanes against Pro Bowl DT Vita Vea and the interior of Tampa Bay's defense. Quarterback Jayden Daniels wound up leading the Commanders in carries (13) as the rushing offense was forced to operate outside of the numbers in the second half. Robinson also had to deal with the presence of veteran backup Austin Ekeler, who was activated from IR in Week 18 and poached 11 touches for a combined 53 yards in Sunday's narrow victory. With a shared backfield and a potential pass-heavy game plan set for the divisional round, Robinson makes for a marginal DFS option against the Lions on Saturday.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Modest workload in Week 18
Robinson rushed five times for 10 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's 23-19 win over the Cowboys.
Robinson didn't get many touches in the regular-season finale as the Commanders chose not to overwork their running backs ahead of the postseason. Washington's lead back finishes the regular season with 187 carries for 799 yards and eight touchdowns, as well as 20 catches for 159 yards on 25 targets. Austin Ekeler (concussion) returned from injured reserve Sunday, but Robinson's likely to get the majority of touches over Ekeler in the wild-card round against either the Rams or Buccaneers.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Handles 15 touches Sunday
Robinson took 13 carries for 60 yards while catching both of his targets for nine yards in Sunday's 30-24 overtime win over the Falcons.
Robinson turned in a middling performance as rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels carried the team to victory Sunday. The 25-year-old Robinson did set a new career high in rushing yards (849) with Sunday's modest showing. Robinson may see less opportunities in next Sunday's season finale against the Cowboys if the Commanders, who have clinched a playoff spot but can rise no higher than the No. 6 seed in the NFC, elect to rest or reduce the workload of their starters.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Can't hold onto ball in Week 16
Robinson carried the ball 10 times for 24 yards and caught two of three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 36-33 win over the Eagles. He also lost two fumbles.
The third-year running back wasn't much involved in the game plan once the Commanders fell behind early, in part because he coughed up the ball on two of the team's first five possessions, and Jayden Daniels wound up leading the team in rushing yards while also throwing five TDs in the comeback victory. Robinson still crept closer to 1,000 scrimmage yards for the season, and he sits 127 yards away heading into a Week 17 clash with the Falcons that could allow him to have more of a featured role if he isn't in coach Dan Quinn's doghouse.
