  • Panthers' David Moore: Good to go

Moore (knee) is good to go for Sunday's matchup with the Commanders, Darin Gantt of the team's official website reports. Moore was limited at practice throughout the week and was considered a true game-time decision. He has ultimately gotten the green light and figures to take on his usual role providing depth at receiver.

  • Panthers' David Moore: Questionable for Week 7

Moore (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders. Moore logged a trio of limited practices this week. The journeyman wideout is coming off back-to-back games with two catches, and notably, No. 1 receiver Diontae Johnson (ankle/ribs) is also listed as questionable for Sunday. If Moore misses any time, practice squad players Dan Chisena. Praise Olatoke and Deven Thompkins could be candidates to be elevated.

  • Panthers' David Moore: Dealing with knee injury

Moore (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Moore caught two passes for 17 yards on just six offensive snaps in the Panthers' Week 6 loss to the Falcons, but it appears he picked up a knee injury in the process. His participation Thursday and Friday will be the best indication of whether he can suit up for the Panthers' Week 7 matchup against the Commanders.

  • Panthers' David Moore: Tallies 17 yards in Week 6

Moore caught both of his targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Falcons. The veteran wideout out-preformed 2023 second-round pick Jonathan Mingo (one catch for one yard) in Sunday's loss, appearing to serve as the Panthers' No. 4 wide receiver. Mingo has disappointed to start his second season in Carolina, so Moore likely will see increased opportunities until Adam Thielen (hamstring) returns from injury.

  • Panthers' David Moore: One catch in loss

Moore caught one of his three targets for 14 yards during Sunday's 47-10 loss to the Saints. Moore was on the field for just 19 offensive snaps during Sunday's loss, but he was targeted three times, catching one ball for 14 yards. The Panthers' air attack struggled as a whole in Week 1, as Bryce Young threw for just 161 yards and two picks on 30 passing attempts. Moore ranked fifth among Carolina's wide receivers in offensive snaps played in Week 1, so it appears he'll struggle to be fantasy-relevant in his first season with the Panthers unless injuries occur.

  • Panthers' David Moore: Gets chance in Carolina

Moore has signed a one-year contract with the Panthers, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports. Moore spent the 2021 offseason with Carolina but never played a game for the team, getting released at final roster cuts and landing on the Broncos' practice squad. Most recently, he played for the Buccaneers during the 2023 campaign and accumulated 94 yards and one touchdown while catching five of seven targets across seven games. The 29-year-old doesn't have any more job security than he did the last time he was with the Panthers, as the team has already added Diontae Johnson to a receiving corps that features Adam Thielen, Jonathan Mingo (foot) and Terrace Marshall.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Limited to one catch Sunday

Moore brought in his only target for 11 yards in the Buccaneers' 31-23 divisional-round loss to the Lions on Sunday. Moore couldn't quite replicate his showing from Tampa Bay's wild-card win over the Eagles, when he posted two receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. The veteran was mostly an afterthought this season after spending a sizable chunk of the campaign on the practice squad, and the five receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown he produced across seven regular-season appearances were his first stats from scrimmage since the 2020 season. Moore is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason and could potentially return on a team-friendly deal if he finds a lack of interest in his services on the open market.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Shines in wild-card win Monday

Moore secured two of three targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers 32-9 wild-card win over the Eagles on Monday night. The veteran was one of two Buccaneers to parlay some impressive run-after-catch prowess into a score, outrunning multiple defenders to the end zone on a 44-yard touchdown grab late in the first quarter. Moore had a nice chunk gain on his other reception as well, and the Lions may have to devote some attention to him in Sunday's divisional-round clash at Ford Field.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Quiet in season finale

Moore brought in his only target for eight yards in the Buccaneers' 9-0 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Moore played his usual deep reserve role, logging only one more snap from scrimmage (17) than he did for special teams (16). Moore flashed with a 2-68-1 line in Week 15, but he didn't appear in a regular-season contest until Week 12 and wrapped up the campaign with five receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown on seven targets over seven games. Moore does have postseason experience from his days with the Seahawks early in his career, but he'll likely remain slotted into the No. 4 receiver role during Tampa Bay's wild-card matchup against the Eagles on Monday night.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Disappointing after Week 15 surge

Moore secured his only target for seven yards in the Buccaneers' 30-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Moore encouragingly saw an uptick in snaps from scrimmage to a season-high 22, but he still was minimally involved from a target perspective. The 28-year-old does have the type of track record to suggest he could see his numbers improve on any given week, but he'll remain a complementary option for the Buccaneers if Mike Evans and Chris Godwin remain in good health for the final two games of the campaign.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Impressive TD in win

Moore brought in both targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 34-20 win over the Packers on Sunday. The veteran journeyman recorded his first touchdown since 2020 on a nifty 52-yard catch and run in the fourth quarter that sealed the game for the Buccaneers. Moore was added to the active roster earlier in the week after the team used up his three practice-squad elevations, and given the knack for the end zone he displayed early in his career with the Seahawks, the seven-year pro could be a surprise contributor down the stretch if he sees enough snaps.

  • David Moore: Headed back to practice squad

The Buccaneers reverted Moore to the practice squad Monday. Moore was elevated for the third straight game and managed to haul in his lone target for 11 yards while playing a season-high 25 snaps (14 on offense, 11 on special teams). Because this was the third time the Bucs called Moore up from the Moore has now been elevated the maximum three times, the team will have to sign the 2017 seventh-round pick to the active roster if they wish to utilize him again during the 2023 campaign.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Called up for third time

The Buccaneers elevated Moore from the practice squad Saturday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports. This is the third straight game Moore has been promoted from the practice squad, which means the Bucs would have to sign him to their active roster if they wanted to play him for the rest of the season. Moore hasn't registered a catch in his two appearances this season and his split has limited snaps between offense and special teams.

  • David Moore: Returns to practice squad

Moore reverted to Tampa Bay's practice squad Monday. Moore was active for Sunday's 21-18 win over the Panthers, failing to record a stat while playing 11 snaps between the offense and the special-teams unit. The wide receiver will now wait for his next chance to appear in a game with Tampa Bay.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Elevated Saturday

The Buccaneers elevated Moore to their active roster Saturday. Tampa Bay elevated both Moore and Ryan Miller on Saturday, which could be a sign that the team is preparing to be without Chris Godwin (neck) in Sunday's contest. Moore has appeared in one game for the Buccaneers this season, playing a total of 21 snaps (11 offensive and 10 on special teams).

  • David Moore: Reverts to practice squad

Moore reverted to Tampa Bay's practice squad Monday. Moore saw playing time on both offense and special teams but failed to haul in his only target in Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Colts. The 2017 seventh-round pick will now wait for his next opportunity to be elevated for a game.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Promoted from practice squad

The Buccaneers elevated Moore to the active roster Saturday. Moore joined the Bucs' practice squad Aug. 30 after being cut by the team one day prior ahead of the 53-man roster deadline. The 2017 seventh-round pick last played in 2021, when he appeared in three games -- two with the Broncos and one with the Packers.

  • David Moore: Cut by Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers released Moore on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports. Moore put together a respectable 8-123-0 line on 12 targets in three preseason games, but the six-year veteran lost out on a depth wide receiver spot to 2023 sixth-round pick Trey Palmer, Deven Thompkins and rookie UDFA Rakim Jarrett. Moore's last impactful season came in 2020 with the Seahawks when he registered 35 catches for 417 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games. He'll look to catch on elsewhere once he clears waivers.

  • Buccaneers' David Moore: Solid finish to preseason

Moore secured three of four targets for 39 yards in the Buccaneers' 26-20 preseason win over the Ravens on Saturday night. Moore was the runner-up in receptions and receiving yards on the night for the Buccaneers while also tying for second in targets. Additionally, the veteran journeyman's 25 snaps were behind only Rakim Jarrett's 32 with respect to Tampa Bay's wideouts. Moore's 8-123-0 line on 12 targets over three exhibitions seemingly locks him into a reserve receiver role, although whether the coaching staff will opt to go with him or a pair of faster but less experienced players in Deven Thompkins or rookie Trey Palmer in the No. 3 receiver job remains to be seen.

  • David Moore: Released from injured reserve

The Bears released Moore (lower leg) from injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports. Moore was slated to miss the entire 2022 campaign after landing on injured reserve, but he'll now have a chance to play again this season after he clears his current injury. The 2017 seventh-round pick caught 78 passes for 1,163 yards and 13 touchdowns during a three-year stretch in Seattle, but he appeared in just three games last year -- two with Denver and one with Green Bay.
