  • Saints' Taysom Hill: Recovering from AC joint injury

Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Wednesday that the injury Hill (shoulder) sustained Week 18 is "just an AC," Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Hill was forced out of New Orleans' loss to the Falcons in Week 18 due to a shoulder injury, but it appears he's just managing an AC joint sprain, and not the type of issue that would significantly impede his offseason recovery. More importantly, it remains unclear whether the 36-year-old veteran intends to continue his playing career for another season. Hill is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and he told Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com in December that the decision on whether or not to retire will be made "down the road."

  • Saints' Taysom Hill: Production falls hard in 2025

Hill (shoulder) finished the 2025 season with 52 carries for 114 rushing yards and one touchdown, as well as 11 catches (on 16 targets) for 91 yards over 13 games. He also completed two of six passes for 57 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.

Hill started the season on the reserve/PUP list after rehabbing a torn ACL suffered in December 2024. He ended the 2025 campaign with an injury, leaving late in the Week 18 loss to Atlanta with a right shoulder issue. The 36-year-old finished with his worst season-long stat line since 2018, and he's now played just 21 regular-season games over the last two years. Hill is set to become an unrestricted free agent, but it's unclear if he'll continue playing or choose to hang it up this offseason, as he told Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com in December that he would decide on his future "down the road." Whether he remains with New Orleans or joins a new team, Hill likely will not be a significant player in fantasy football moving forward.

  • Saints' Taysom Hill: Departs Week 18 with shoulder issue

Hill (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup against Atlanta.

Hill exited in the third quarter of the Saints' season finale. Per the broadcast, he took off his pads and headed to the locker room after getting hurt. The veteran tight end recorded three catches on three targets for 32 yards prior to his departure. Moliki Matavao will likely work as New Orleans' No. 2 tight end behind Juwan Johnson for as long as Hill remains out.

  • Saints' Taysom Hill: Records zero yards in win

Hill totaled three carries for zero rushing yards and did not record a target during Sunday's 34-26 win versus Tennessee.

Hill didn't serve as the Saints' primary rusher as he did in last week's win versus the Jets. The 35-year-old has now logged three or fewer carries in four of the last five contests, and he's tallied 52 rushing attempts for 114 yards across 12 appearances this season. Hill has factored in as a receiver at times this season, but he's recorded a target in only six games this season, including just four games with one or more catches. Hill's irregular workload doesn't bode well for his fantasy production in the Saints' regular-season finale against Atlanta.

  • Saints' Taysom Hill: Lead runner in Week 16 win

Hill rushed 12 times for 42 yards, caught four of six targets for 36 yards and threw a 38-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's 29-6 win over the Jets. He also lost a fumble.

Hill became the first player in the Super Bowl era to reach 1,000 career yards each in passing, rushing and receiving, as he raised his career total for receiving yards to 1,002. The versatile veteran worked as the Saints' primary runner in the absence of Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) and Devin Neal (hamstring), as Audric Estime and Evan Hull logged five carries apiece. The cherry on top of Hill's history-making performance was a touchdown pass to Chris Olave in the fourth quarter. Unless Kamara returns from a four-game absence in Week 17 against the Titans, Hill will likely continue to lead the New Orleans backfield.

  • Saints' Taysom Hill: Records two yards Week 15

Hill rushed twice for two yards and tallied zero targets during Sunday's 20-17 win against the Panthers.

Hill logged exactly two touches for the third week in a row, and he's averaging 4.1 targets per game over 10 appearances this season. The 35-year-old has played sparingly in the Saints' up-and-down offense, and he's totaled just 95 yards from scrimmage this year. Hill's minimal usage won't make him a player worth attention from fantasy owners over the final three games of the regular season. New Orleans will next play versus the Jets on Sunday, Dec. 21.

  • Saints' Taysom Hill: Logs two carries Week 14

Hill recorded two rushing attempts for minus-1 yard, and he failed to haul in either of his two targets during Sunday's 24-20 win against the Buccaneers.

Hill tallied two touches for the second week in a row. The 35-year-old played a season-high 41 percent of the offensive snaps, but he's been largely irrelevant since his 2025 debut in Week 5. Over nine games, Hill is now averaging 0.4 receptions and 3.9 rushing attempts while totaling 10.8 yards per game. His low volume and inefficiency should continue to make Hill a non-factor for fantasy owners. New Orleans will next play Week 15 versus Carolina on Sunday, Dec. 14.
