Falcons' Storm Norton: Expected to start Sunday
Norton is expected to start in the place of Kaleb McGary (knee) in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The veteran offensive lineman has appeared in nine games for the Falcons this season, playing primarily as a backup tackle and on special teams. Norton is in line to make his first start since 2021 in Week 14, and goes against a Buccaneers' defensive line that ranks in the top half of the league in sacks this season (35.0).

Saints' Storm Norton: Signing with New Orleans
Norton agreed Wednesday with the Saints on a one-year contract, Terrin Waack of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Norton will head to New Orleans after spending the past three seasons with the Chargers. The 28-year-old played in 12 games but didn't make a single start last season. Norton can play either left or right tackle and should provide depth behind starters Trevor Penning and Ryan Ramczyk.

Chargers' Storm Norton: In offseason position battle
Norton is set to compete with Trey Pipkins for the Chargers' starting right tackle spot during training camp, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
The 28-year-old played 17 games with 15 starts for the Chargers last year, but he will have to prove himself against Pipkins (the team's 2019 third-round pick) heading into the 2022 campaign. Norton signed with Los Angeles ahead of the 2020 season after spending time playing with the Vikings and in the XFL.

Norton was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday.
Norton only had to spend two days in COVID protocols. Now that he is healthy, he should be able to resume his role of starting right tackle Sunday against the Broncos.

Chargers' Storm Norton: Placed on reserve/COVID-19 list
The Chargers placed Norton (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
It's not yet clear whether Norton landed on the COVID-19 list as a result of a positive test. If he's unavailable Sunday against Denver, Michael Schofield would likely be in line to start at right tackle.
