  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Excellent despite dip in production

Lloyd recorded 81 tackles (35 solo), including 1.5 sacks, across 15 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also logged seven passes defensed, including five interceptions, one fumble recovery and one defensive touchdown. Lloyd failed to tally 100 total tackles in 2025 for the first time in his career, but he remained reliable against the run while emerging as a legitimate playmaker elsewhere on defense for Jacksonville, especially in coverage. The 2022 first-round pick will look to continue wreaking havoc in the postseason, beginning with Sunday's wild-card-round matchup against the Bills. Lloyd is currently playing out the final year of his rookie deal, and he's positioned to become a coveted unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Five tackles in victory

Lloyd recorded five tackles (one solo) and one pass breakup in the Jaguars' win over the Colts on Sunday. Lloyd's 90 percent snap rate against Indianapolis was his highest in a game since playing 96 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 10 against Houston. The 27-year-old linebacker has recorded 76 tackles (33 solo), including 1.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, including five interceptions, one fumble recovery and one defensive touchdown on 74 percent of the snaps across 14 appearances this season.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Picks off Jones in Week 14 win

Lloyd tallied eight tackles (one solo) and an interception during the Jaguars' 36-19 win over the Colts on Sunday. Lloyd put the Jaguars deep in enemy territory early in the first quarter when he picked off a short pass from Daniel Jones (Achilles), and the Jacksonville offense converted the turnover into a Travis Etienne three-yard rushing touchdown four plays later. Lloyd entered the regular season having accrued four interceptions over the first three years of his NFL career, but he's up to five interceptions through 11 regular-season games in 2025, including a 99-yard pick-six in a Week 5 win over the Chiefs. However, he has just 59 combined tackles on the year and will likely fall short of the tackling century mark unless he increases his defensive activity over the final four games of the regular season.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Working through chest injury

Lloyd (chest) was limited in practice Wednesday. Lloyd started, as usual, this past Sunday against the Titans and tied his season-high mark with eight tackles, but he appears to have picked up a chest injury as well. At this point there's no indication that the issue is serious, though Lloyd may need to log at least one full practice session over the next two days to avoid entering the weekend with an injury designation. Ventrell Miller would figure to absorb most of Lloyd's defensive snaps if the latter isn't able to play Sunday versus the Colts.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Gets after quarterback

Lloyd recorded five tackles (three solo), including 1.5 sacks, in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win against the Cardinals. Lloyd had a quiet game from purely a tackle perspective and was surprisingly limited to only 76 percent of defensive snaps. However, he made up for that with the sack and half-sack in the second half, both of which led to punts. Lloyd has only seven stops combined across his last two games, so his trajectory will be worth monitoring.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Racks up eight stops in Week 10

Lloyd finished Sunday's loss to the Texans with eight tackles (two solo). Lloyd's tackle total was third-most on the Jaguars and tied a season-high mark. The fourth-year linebacker has recorded 36 tackles and four defensed passes, including an interception, through seven games on the season.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Picks off Purdy twice in Week 4 win

Lloyd finished Sunday's 26-21 win over the 49ers with eight tackles (six solo) and two interceptions. Lloyd played 62 of 66 defensive snaps and finished second on the Jaguars in tackling behind Tyson Campbell (nine). Lloyd was responsible for two of Jacksonville's four turnovers, with his two interceptions off Brock Purdy in the second and fourth quarters being converted into 10 points by the Jaguars' offense. Lloyd is already up to three interceptions through four games, which matches his total from his rookie season in 2022. He's also logged 23 tackles (12 solo) and one fumble recovery to start the season.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Option not exercised

The Jaguars won't exercise Lloyd's fifth-year option, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. The 2022 first-round pick out of Utah has been one of the Jaguars' top tacklers over the past three seasons, ranking second on the team with 355 total tackles across 48 regular-season contests. Lloyd has also been been a valuable asset in coverage, recording 19 passes defended, including three interceptions, since entering the league. Despite the team declining his fifth-year option, Lloyd is expected to remain one of Jacksonville's top inside linebackers in 2025, likely starting alongside Foyesade Oluokun.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Tallies second sack

Lloyd recorded six tackles (four solo) with 1.0 sacks during Jacksonville's Week 18 loss to Indianapolis. The 26-year-old tied for fifth on the team in tackles in the season finale and recorded his second sack of the season. Lloyd totaled 113 tackles (61 solo) with 2.0 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble in 16 games this season. The 2022 first-round pick is entering the final guaranteed year of his contract in 2025, and Jacksonville will need to decide during the offseason whether to exercise his fifth-year option for 2026.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Gets first interception of season

Lloyd recorded six tackles (four solo) and an interception during Sunday's 20-13 win versus the Titans. Lloyd's tackle total in Week 17 wasn't noteworthy by his standards, but the pick was his first since Week 16 of the 2022 season. He could be asked to shift out of pass-coverage mode when the Jaguars travel to take on a run-heavy Indianapolis team in Week 18.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Notches six stops Sunday

Lloyd finished Sunday's Week 13 loss to Houston with six tackles (three solo) and a defensed pass. Lloyd ranked second on the Jaguars in stops behind Darnell Savage, who finished with seven. Lloyd has tallied 11 tackles over his past two contests following a big Week 10 against Minnesota when he racked up 16 stops. The third-year linebacker leads Jacksonville with 85 tackles, including 1.0 sacks, on the campaign.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Huge day in win

Lloyd recorded 11 tackles (five solo) including 1.0 sacks during Sunday's 32-16 win against the Patriots. Lloyd was on the field for nearly all of the Jaguars' defensive snaps in Week 7, and he consequently finished as their leading tackler. He's been the undisputed top option in Jacksonville for snaps at linebacker so far this year, making him a good IDP option headed into a Week 8 matchup versus the Packers.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Officially questionable vs. Indy

Lloyd (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts. Lloyd sat out the Jaguars' Week 4 loss against the Texans due to a knee injury. After opening this week as a non-participant in practice, he was limited in practice Thursday and Friday, and head coach Doug Pederson relayed after Friday's practice session that he expects Lloyd to play in Sunday's AFC South contest, per John Shipley of SI.com. Across the first three games of the regular season, Lloyd tallied 21 tackles (13 solo), two passes defended and one forced fumble.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Not playing Sunday

Lloyd (knee) is inactive Sunday against the Texans. Lloyd was a late addition to the injury report, which typically isn't a good sign. With Foyesade Oluokun (foot) also inactive, the Jaguars' linebacker corps will be depleted in Houston.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Gives himself chance to play Sunday

Lloyd (knee) was limited in Friday's practice and is questionable to play Sunday against Houston. Lloyd appeared on the Jaguars' injury report Thursday due to a knee injury. He was able to practice in a limited capacity Friday, which gives the 2022 first-round pick a real shot at playing Sunday. Lloyd's presence is desperately needed for a Jaguars linebacker corps that will be without Foyesade Oluokun (foot) for multiple weeks.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Pops up on injury report

Lloyd (knee) did not practice Thursday. Lloyd saw a slight downturn in snaps in Monday's loss to the Bills, although it's not clear if that was due to injury or the lopsided score in the second half. The Utah product's potential absence Sunday against the Texans is compounded by Foyesade Oluokun's (foot) doubtful status for the matchup, leaving the Jaguars in danger of being without their top two linebackers.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Tallies 127 tackles

Lloyd finished the 2023 regular season with 127 tackles (75 solo), seven passes defensed and two fumble recoveries in 15 games. Despite playing in two fewer games than he did as a rookie, the 2022 first-round pick recorded 12 more tackles in his second NFL season. Lloyd's production is also notable since he plays alongside Foye Oluokun, who was once again one of the most productive tacklers in the league with 173 stops.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Another big performance in Week 15

Lloyd recorded 11 tackles (eight solo) in Sunday's 23-7 loss to the Ravens. Lloyd registered double-digit takedowns for the third game in a row and fifth time over the last six contests. He continues to be a force on Jacksonville's defense and he's now up to 110 tackles on the season, just five short of his total from his rookie campaign last year.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Leading tackler in loss

Lloyd logged 10 total tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the 49ers. The 2022 first-round pick has been very productive since returning from a thumb issue, averaging 10 tackles per game in four appearances. Even though he's missed two games this year, Lloyd is second on the Jaguars' in total tackles (58) and pass deflections (six). Expect the second-year linebacker to continue wreaking havoc for Jacksonville's defense for the remainder of the season.

  • Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Nine tackles in win

Lloyd had nine tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Steelers. It was the third straight game that Lloyd had at least nine tackles and he played 100 percent of the defensive snaps for the first time since Week 1. His 48 tackles in six games ranks second on the team -- well behind the 92 of Foye Oluokun -- and he's seemingly over the thumb injury that caused him to miss two games earlier in the year.
