  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Gets big workload in Brazil

McDuffie recorded six tackles (three solo) during Friday's 34-29 loss against Philadelphia. McDuffie was on the field for nearly all of the Packers' defensive snaps in Week 1, indicating he could project for some IDP value for the remainder of the season. He should see a good dose of the run versus the Colts in Week 2.

  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Steps into larger role

McDuffie tallied 86 tackles (56 solo), a half sack and a pass deflection over 16 regular-season games in the 2023 season. McDuffie did not play even one snap on defense in his 2021 rookie season, but he was on the field for 17 percent of the snaps in 2022, and that number jumped all the way to 48 percent in 2023. His role heading into 2024 will hinge significantly on whether or not De'Vondre Campbell is brought back, but if Campbell moves on McDuffie will have a chance to open the season as the starting inside linebacker alongside Quay Walker.

  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Status in question for Saturday

McDuffie (neck) is considered questionable to play in Saturday's divisional-round matchup versus the 49ers, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers official website reports. McDuffie sustained a neck injury in the team's wild-card round win over the Cowboys and he logged a limited practice at Thursday's only official padded session of the week. If the linebacker can't go in Saturday's divisional-round matchup in San Francisco, Eric Wilson is the most likely candidate to see extra usage versus the 49ers.

  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Limited practice Wednesday

McDuffie (neck) was a limited participant at the Packers' walk-through practice Wednesday. McDuffie suffered a neck injury in the team's 48-32 win over the Cowboys in the wild-card round and opened the week as a nonparticipant at Tuesday's estimated practice. The linebacker will look to increase his practice availability ahead of Saturday's matchup with the 49ers in the divisional round.

  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Limited at Wednesday walkthrough

McDuffie (concussion/neck) was estimated as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice walkthrough McDuffie suffered a concussion Week 17 against Minnesota and wasn't able to return for Sunday's win over Chicago. The linebacker didn't practice at all last week, so it's a positive development that he was able to log a limited session Wednesday, though it should be noted that Green Bay held a walkthrough, thus McDuffie's participation was merely an estimation. McDuffie will need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in order to suit up for Sunday's wild-card game against the Cowboys.

  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Misses practice Thursday

McDuffie (concussion/neck) did not participate at the Packers' practice Thursday. McDuffie has now missed the team's first two sessions of the week, including Wednesday's walkthrough, making it rather unlikely he'll be able to go in Week 18. The 24-year-old is in concussion protocol, and if he's ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale with the Bears, De'Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker will see the lion's share of work at interior linebacker.

  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Compiles 10 tackles in loss

McDuffie registered 10 tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 23-19 loss to Pittsburgh. McDuffie had yet another productive game in Week 10, reaching 10 takedowns for the third time in the team's last five contests. The linebacker has operated in a more significant role the last two weeks with Quay Walker (groin) unavailable, and he could do so again in Week 11 versus the Chargers if Walker is forced to miss a third straight game.

  • Packers' Isaiah McDuffie: Leading tackler Sunday

McDuffie logged 12 tackles during Sunday's 31-28 overtime win against the Cowboys. McDuffie played 82 percent of Green Bay's defensive snaps with fellow inside linebackers De'Vondre Campbell (knee) and Krys Barnes (concussion) both inactive Week 10. As a result, the 23-year-old came away with the first double-digit tackle performance of his career, increasing his season total to 29 over 10 games. McDuffie exclusively played on special teams in six of the first seven weeks, so his production should come back down to earth if Campbell and Barnes are available for Thursday's game against the Titans.
