  • Jaguars' Christian Braswell: Nearing return

Braswell (hamstring) was designated to return from IR on Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. Braswell has been on IR since Oct. 14 and hasn't played since Week 4 against the Falcons. He'll now have 21 days to practice with the team and get up to speed before needing to be moved back to the 53-man roster. When healthy, the rookie corner only played on special teams, but depending on how soon he returns, he could step into a larger role with Tre Herndon in concussion protocols and Tyson Campbell dealing with a quadriceps injury.

Braswell (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against Indianapolis. The rookie out of Rutgers is expected to miss his second week in a row, as he continues to recover from his hamstring injury. Through three games this year, Braswell has yet to record a stat or a defensive snap, but he's played on 12 percent of Jacksonville's special teams snaps.

  • Jaguars' Christian Braswell: Won't play vs. Bills

Braswell (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus Buffalo. Braswell will be a scratch for the second time through five games this season, this time as he deals with a hamstring injury. He's played exclusively on special teams as a rookie, so Jacksonville will now have to find a way to replace his production in that area.
