Bears' D'Andre Swift: Having standout camp
Swift has been one of the brightest stars of training camp for the Bears, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Swift broke off a 62-yard touchdown in Tuesday's practice and also trucked a defender on a run to the outside. "I'm excited for him," Caleb Williams said Tuesday. "Selfishly, he helps everybody on that field when he can go and be the special back that he is, whether it's passing or short yardage and running downhill. I'm excited for him, I think he's going to have a great year." Swift rushed for a career-high 1,087 yards and nine touchdowns on 223 carries (4.9 YPC) across 16 regular-season games last season and should head into 2026 as the clear lead back in Chicago ahead of Kyle Monangai. The scoring upside of the Chicago offense has Swift on the fantasy RB2 map.

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Entering third season with Bears
Swift remains positioned atop Chicago's backfield alongside Kyle Monangai as training camp approaches, Mike Moraitis of SI.com reports.
Swift offers more explosiveness and pass-catching ability than Monangai, though both backs are expected to play significant roles in coach Ben Johnson's offense behind Chicago's revamped offensive line. Across 16 regular-season appearances in 2025, Swift rushed 223 times for 1,087 yards and a career-high nine touchdowns while adding 34 catches for 299 yards and another score on 48 targets. The 27-year-old is heading into the final year of his contract with the Bears.

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Leading rusher on 19 attempts
Swift rushed 19 times for 76 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 20-17 playoff loss to the Rams.
Swift led Chicago in both rushing attempts and yardage Sunday, but his inability to score on multiple attempts from in close in the second half proved costly in the overtime loss. The 26-year-old was curiously absent in the passing game after registering a target in all 17 of his previous appearances (including playoffs) this season. Swift had a career year under first-year head coach Ben Johnson, finishing the regular season with personal bests in rushing yards (1,087) and touchdowns (nine). The veteran starter will enter the final year of a three-year contract with the Bears in 2026, forming a formidable backfield duo with RB Kyle Monangai.
