Robinson (undisclosed) and the Texans agreed to an injury settlement Wednesday.
Robinson didn't have a shot at making the Texan's final roster even before suffering his undisclosed injury and was ultimately waived from Houston's IR with an injury settlement. The 6-foot-7 former professional basketball player is now free to look for an opportunity elsewhere in the league once healthy.

Robinson was activated from the PUP list during preseason but had fallen behind others and had no shot of sticking with the Texans.

Texans' Jevoni Robinson: Activated off PUP list
The Texans activated Robinson (undisclosed) off the Physically Unable to Perform list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Robinson was cleared to return after passing his physical. As it stands now, he's seventh on the depth chart at tight end and faces long odds to make the team. As a former college and professional basketball player with minimal football experience, the 6-foot-7 Robinson is considered a project.

Texans' Jevoni Robinson: Lands on PUP list
Robinson was placed on the Texans' Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
At this point in time, it's not well known what is plaguing the 25-year-old. Robinson signed a deal with Houston back in January with the expectation he would compete for a depth role at tight end, with most of his responsibilities likely to fall on special teams if he were to crack the 53-man roster. It seems as though Robinson's chances of making the team took a severe hit after he received the injury designation.
