Titans' Austin Schlottmann: Heading to Music City
Schlottmann signed a one-year contract with the Titans on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Schlottman served as the Giants' backup center for most of the 2025 regular season, though he did start in four games (including Weeks 17 and 18) in place of John Michael Schmitz (finger). It appears as though Schlottman will have the opportunity to compete for the starting center job in Tennessee, given that the Titans released Lloyd Cushenberry (undisclosed) with a failed physical designation in late February and that Corey Levin (biceps) is still an unrestricted free agent.

Giants' Austin Schlottmann: In line for larger role
Schlottmann is expected to start at center Sunday against the Broncos, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reports.
John Michael Schmitz (concussion) has been ruled out and won't travel with the team to Denver. That leaves Schlottmann next in line at center. He played 32 snaps after Schmitz departed in Week 6, so Schlottmann should have some chemistry with Jaxson Dart.

Giants' Austin Schlottmann: Playing Sunday vs. Indianapolis
Schlottmann (lower leg) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Schlottmann was placed on injured reserve at the start of the regular season after breaking his fibula during practice in late August. He was a full practice participant all week, and he will make his 2024 regular-season debut Sunday after being activated off IR on Saturday.

The Giants activated Schlottmann (lower leg) from injured reserve Saturday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Schlotmman started the regular season on injured reserve after he broke his fibula during practice in late August. He was designated to return from injured reserve Dec. 11, and he has progressed enough in his recovery to be activated off IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts, where he is listed as questionable.

Giants' Austin Schlottmann: Designated to return
The Giants designated Schlottmann (lower leg) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Schlottmann was placed on injured reserve back in August but is now closer to making his return. He managed to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday, and the team will now have 21 days to officially activate him.

Giants' Austin Schlottmann: Suffers broken fibula Wednesday
The Giants placed Schlottmann (leg) on the reserve/injured list Thursday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Schlottmann suffered a broken fibula when he got rolled up during practice Wednesday, and while he won't need surgery, he's expected to be out for 8-to-10 weeks, per Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Schlottmann fractured his fibula in Week 17 of the 2022 season, but he was healthy for training camp and appeared in nine regular-season games (including three starts) for the Vikings in 2023. The timeline for his recovery would slate his return for late October or early November.

Schlottmann participated in training camp Wednesday, Will Ragatz of MSN.com reports.
Schlottmann suffered a fractured fibula, which required surgery to repair, during Week 17 of last season. The 27-year-old appears to be fully recovered now, as he was earning second-team reps in practice.

Vikings' Austin Schlottmann: Re-ups with Minnesota
Schlottman (lower leg) re-signed with the Vikings on Thursday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Schlottman will return to Minnesota after starting four games for the team last season. He fractured his fibula in January and is still recovering after having the injury surgically repaired.

Vikings' Austin Schlottmann: Making progress in recovery
Schlottmann (lower leg) will begin rehabbing in early March and is expected to be fully healthy for the 2023 season, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Schlottmann underwent successful surgery in early January to repair a fractured fibula, and he's since shed his walking boot. Assuming he indeed is ready for the start of the season, he should compete for a depth role on the Vikings offensive line, if not a starting position.
