Oweh was limited throughout the team's entire week of practice prior to playing 46 snaps on defense in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Eagles. The linebacker will have two more chances to log a full practice before Washington's matchup with Dallas in Week 2, but he seems likely to be active again.

Oweh (calf) took part in the Commanders' walk-through session Monday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.
The linebacker has been nursing the calf issue since mid-August. Now that he has returned to some on-field work, he may have a chance to play in the team's season opener against Philadelphia on Sunday. Oweh signed a four-year, $96-million contract with the Commanders in the offseason.

Commanders' Odafe Oweh: Absent due to injury
Oweh (undisclosed) did not participate in Tuesday's practice, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Oweh did not play in last Friday's preseason opener against the Dolphins, so it is unclear when the linebacker sustained his injury. A significant injury for the 27-year-old would be a serious issue for the Commanders, as the team just signed the weakside linebacker to a four-year $100 million deal in early March. With fellow edge rusher K'Lavon Chaisson (undisclosed) also sitting with an injury, Joshua Josephs, Javontae Jean-Baptiste and Drake Jackson are set to see more first-team reps for the immediate future.
