Cardinals' Trey McBride: Another productive performance
McBride hauled in seven of eight targets for 72 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 33-30 overtime victory at Dallas.
The Cardinals offense experienced a QB change from Jacoby Brissett to Gardner Minshew late in the third quarter, but McBride was undeterred, extending his streak of seven-plus catches to eight consecutive contests to begin the season while also scoring his fifth TD of 2026 on a 14-yard connection with Minshew with 2:11 remaining in regulation. Overall, McBride has a 66-544-5 line on 86 targets just shy of the midpoint of the campaign, putting him on pace to surpass most of his career-high marks (126-1,239-11 on 169 targets) from a season ago. It's unclear who between Brissett and Minshew will be under center next Sunday at Seattle, but McBride and WR Michael Wilson (ribs), assuming the latter suits up, will be the top options in the passing game.

Cardinals' Trey McBride: Hits 400-catch mark in season-best outing
McBride caught 10 of 13 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-16 loss to the Broncos.
McBride became the first tight end in NFL history to record 400 regular-season catches in his first four campaigns, bolstering his career total to 406 with 10 grabs Sunday. He scored Arizona's lone touchdown of the game on a seven-yard catch in the third quarter while setting season highs in catches and receiving yards. McBride has recorded at least seven receptions in all seven games this season while scoring four times heading into a Week 8 matchup with a weak Dallas pass defense.

The star tight end led the NFL with 42 catches through five weeks and has at least seven receptions in every game this season. Cardinals' Trey McBride: Busy as usual in Week 5 loss
McBride brought in nine of 10 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 45-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
McBride was in the familiar position of leading the Cardinals in receptions and targets, and he was narrowly second to Kendrick Bourne in receiving yards. The star tight end's touchdown reception was also a thing of beauty despite the fact it came when the game was completely out of reach, as McBride somehow secured the pass inbounds after tapping it twice to himself while swarmed by two defenders. McBride already has three nine-catch tallies in the first five games of the season, and he's also opened the campaign with five consecutive double-digit target tallies. McBride already has 42 receptions in 2026, putting him well on pace for a third straight 100-catch season heading into a Week 6 home matchup against the Rams next Sunday.
