The Broncos waived Smith on Tuesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Smith provided depth in the Broncos' secondary and mostly played on special teams, accruing six tackles (four solo) across eight regular-season games. Assuming he clears waivers, Smith could stick around in Denver on the practice squad or explore opportunities elsewhere.

Keidron Smith: Cut by Denver
The Broncos terminated Smith's practice-squad contract Tuesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Denver signed Smith to its practice squad Dec. 19, but the organization decided to part ways with him just one week later. Smith is an undrafted rookie who has also spent time with the Dolphins' and the Commanders' practice squads this season.
