Castles returned to the Chargers' practice squad Nov. 9 after being dropped just three days before, but it now appears the Bolts have decided to move in another direction. The 24-year-old has yet to appear in an NFL game after going undrafted out of Tennessee this past offseason.

Castles (undisclosed) reverted to the Eagles' injured reserve Sunday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Castles suffered an undisclosed injury in Thursday's public practice and will now be sidelined for the entire 2024 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with Philadelphia. The tight end was geared up to compete for a depth role this season behind Dallas Goedert, but he'll now shift his focus to recovering from his injury.

The Eagles waived/injured Castles on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury.
It is not clear what injury Castles is dealing with as of now. Prior to the injury, he was competing for a depth tight end role on Philadelphia's roster. Assuming the Tennessee product does not get claimed off waivers, he will likely revert back to the Eagles' injured reserve.
