The Giants traded Ezeudu (leg) to the Chiefs for a 2028 seventh-round pick Tuesday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Ezeudu's tenure with the Giants has come to an end after he appeared in 33 games with the team across three seasons. He will now provide additional depth along the interior of the offensive line for Kansas City.

Ezeudu has been listed as a full participant at practice throughout Week 17 prep, and he seems healthy enough to be activated from IR and suit up versus Las Vegas on Sunday. Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters that Ezeudu had his knee drained and won't practice Wednesday, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports.
Schwartz also noted that Daboll didn't sound optimistic regarding Ezeudu's availability in Week 9's matchup against the Commanders. Regardless, the third-year tackle from North Carolina will likely need to upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday in order to suit up Sunday.

Ezeudu struggled at left tackle last season when he filled in for an injured Andrew Thomas, but coach Brian Daboll wants to keep a contingency plan in place in case the latter gets hurt again. If he's on the first unit this season, Ezeudu projects to most likely fill a starting role at guard.
