Steelers' Cory Trice: Good to go for Week 1
Trice (groin) was a full participant for Thursday's practice session, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Trice missed all of 2023 due to a ruptured ACL sustained in August 2023. He was able to return for training camp this year and finished with four tackles (three solo) across the Steelers' three preseason games. Trice was limited in practice Wednesday, but he appears to be on track for Sunday's regular-season opener against Atlanta.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Could play Week 1
Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Trice (groin) could suit up for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Falcons, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
Trice, a 2023 seventh-round pick, missed his entire rookie campaign due to a ruptured ACL sustained last August, but he's currently listed as dealing with a groin injury. Wednesday's first official practice report of the regular season will shed more light on Trice's chances of making his NFL debut during Sunday's road opener against Atlanta.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Nearly back to full speed
Trice said Wednesday that he'll be fully clear for training camp, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
Trice was forced to miss his entire rookie season last year due to a ruptured ACL he sustained in August, but he's now on track to play in 2024. However, Pittsburgh traded for Donte Jackson in March and drafted Ryan Watts in April, so Trice won't be guaranteed playing time or even a roster spot.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Back with team
Trice (knee) is back with the Steelers as he continues to rehab from a torn ACL, Curt Popejoy of USA Today reports.
Trice's injury was previously unknown, but it's now been confirmed the 2023 seventh-round pick out of Purdue suffered a torn ACL back in August. The rookie cornerback impressed throughout the summer and was well on his way to making Pittsburgh's 53-man roster before his injury.

Trice (undisclosed) was placed on Pittsburgh's injured reserve list Wednesday.
The 2022 seventh-round pick out of Purdue will be sidelined after suffering an unknown injury, but it must be pretty significant for him to be placed on IR. Trice will now miss the entire season unless he gets waived with an injury settlement.
