Alex Brown: Facing charges after car accident
Brown was charged with two counts of operating while under the influence and two counts of reckless driving in connection with a nonfatal car accident that also injured his teammate, Charlie Taumoepeau, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.
Brown, along with Taumoepeau, were waived by the Lions on Monday. Brown was then arraigned Tuesday and given a $50,000 bond. "It's something certainly we don't condone," coach Dan Campbell told reports.

Brown suited up in three regular-season games for the Chiefs in his rookie 2019 season, and he secured a special-teams role. He had a good chance of making the final roster yet again this year, but now he'll require surgery and won't be available until 2021.
