Alex Brown: Facing charges after car accident
Brown was charged with two counts of operating while under the influence and two counts of reckless driving in connection with a nonfatal car accident that also injured his teammate, Charlie Taumoepeau, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.
Brown, along with Taumoepeau, were waived by the Lions on Monday. Brown was then arraigned Tuesday and given a $50,000 bond. "It's something certainly we don't condone," coach Dan Campbell told reports.

The South Carolina State product sustained a torn ACL during Saturday's practice and is expected to miss all of the 2020 season. Brown will likely undergo surgery and look to nab a roster spot and a depth role with the Chiefs in 2021.

Brown sustained a torn ACL during Saturday's practice and will miss the 2020 season, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.
Brown suited up in three regular-season games for the Chiefs in his rookie 2019 season, and he secured a special-teams role. He had a good chance of making the final roster yet again this year, but now he'll require surgery and won't be available until 2021.
