Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: More snaps in second season
Orhorhoro played in all 17 regular-season games in 2025 and finished with 25 tackles (12 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and one pass defense.
The 2024 second-rounder out of Clemson operated in a rotational role in his rookie season. Orhorhoro saw an expanded role on defense in his sophomore campaign, starting in eight of the Falcons' final 12 games while forming a young defensive front with rookie first-rounders Jalon Walker and James Pearce. Orhorhoro should see prominent playing time in 2026 as the anchor to the Atlanta's D-line.

Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: Cleared to play Week 18
Orhorhoro (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the saints, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Orhorhoro was a late addition to Saturday's injury report due to an illness, but the second-year pro has shown enough during pregame warmups to be cleared to play in Sunday's regular-season finale. He has accumulated 24 tackles (12 solo), including 3.4 sacks, and one pass defense across 16 regular-season games.

Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: Questionable for Sunday
Orhorhoro (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
Orhorhoro may have been struck by the same issue as cornerback A.J. Terrell (illness). If the starting nose tackle is unable to suit up for Sunday's divisional clash, Kentavius Street is in line for a significant increase in defensive snaps. Elijah Garcia may also see an increased snap share as a rotational defensive lineman due to Orhorhoro's potential absence.

Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: Ready to rock
Orhorhoro (knee) does not carry an injury designation for Monday's game against the Rams.
Orhorhoro was limited in practice Friday and Saturday due to a knee issue, but he's now been cleared for action Monday at home against Los Angeles. The 2024 second-round pick hasn't yet missed a single game this season. He's racked up 22 tackles (11 solo), including 2.5 sacks, plus one pass defensed across 15 regular-season appearances.

Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: Limited Friday
Orhorhoro (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Orhorhoro was not present on the Falcons' estimated practice report Thursday, so his appearance on Friday's injury report is a bit worrisome. The nose tackle appears to have suffered a knee injury, but the ability to practice through it in any capacity means that he could potentially play with it. The 24-year-old will have one more opportunity to upgrade his practice participation to full in an attempt to dodge an injury designation ahead of Monday night's primetime contest against the Rams.

Orhorhoro was able to fade an injury tag for Sunday's game despite popping up on Thursday's injury report due to a groin issue. The second-year defensive lineman has started in seven of the Falcons' last nine games, and over that span he has accumulated 13 tackles (eight solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense.

Orhorhoro wasn't listed on the injury report to start the week, but he popped up with a groin issue Thursday. The severity of the injury is unclear, but a limited or full practice again Friday would bode well for his availability for Week 16. Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: Ready to play
Orhorhoro (ankle) was activated from injured reserve Monday.
Orhorhoro should be good to go for Monday Night Football against the Raiders. The rookie second-round selection has been sidelined since Week 8, but he's been able to practice with the team since Dec. 4 and will likely fill at least a rotational role on the defensive line.

Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: Deemed questionable for Monday
Orhorhoro, who is on IR due to an ankle injury, is questionable to play against Las Vegas on Monday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
Orhorhoro has been on injured reserve since Nov. 1 and would need to be activated Sunday or sooner in order to suit up Monday. There appears to be a good chance of that happening given his designation of questionable and the fact that head coach Raheem Morris said Saturday that the rookie had a good week of practice, per William McFadden of the Falcons' official site. If Orhorhoro is able to return to action Monday, he would likely return to a rotational role at defensive end.

Orhorhoro (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Daniel Flick of SI.com reports.

His 21-day window to return from IR opened Wednesday, and while he was able to log a full practice Friday, he hasn't progressed enough in his recovery to play Sunday. Orhorhoro (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Falcons' Ruke Orhorhoro: Designated to return
Orhorhoro (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Amna Subhan of the Falcons' official site reports.

However, he returned to practice Wednesday, giving the team 21 days to activate him to the active roster or he has to revert to IR. If activated before Sunday's game, Orhorhoro has a chance to play in the Week 14 matchup against the Vikings.
