McLendon has been dealing with turf toe since the team's second preseason game and was expected to miss several weeks. His move to IR will instead force him out for the 2024 campaign.

McLendon is expected to miss multiple weeks due to turf toe, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
The issue cropped up for McLendon during Tennessee's second preseason game, and now it looks like it could leak into the start of the regular season. As long as McLendon remains sidelined, Isaiah Iton Iton could be in line for more reps.

Titans' TK McLendon: Injures foot in preseason win
McLendon left Saturday's preseason game due to a foot injury, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
The undrafted rookie free agent back in 2023 was essentially a special teams ace in his first season with the Titans, but he could face an uphill battle to make the active roster this go around given the team's dramatic coaching change this offseason.

Titans' TK McLendon: Plays 20 snaps vs. 49ers
McLendon (shoulder) registered one tackle in Saturday's 17-13 preseason win over San Francisco.
McLendon played all 20 of his snaps on defense in the Titans' preseason opener. He appeared in seven regular-season games for Tennessee last season, finishing with eight tackles (three solo) while missing the final contest of the season with a shoulder injury. McLendon is competing for a depth spot at defensive end behind starters Sebastian Joseph-Day and Jeffery Simmons.

McLendon (shoulder) is out for Sunday's game versus the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
McLendon will miss Tennessee's season finale due to a nagging shoulder injury. He finishes the season with eight tackles (three solo) and a fumble recovery over seven games. Marlon Davidson figures to take his place on the defensive line in Week 18.

Titans' TK McLendon: Back to full practice
McLendon (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
The undrafted rookie out of Eastern Kentucky missed last Sunday's loss to the Seahawks after playing the first six games of his career from Weeks 10 through 15, seeing action on 79 defensive snaps as a rotational lineman. McLendon should be good to go for Sunday's Week 17 date with the Texans.

Titans' TK McLendon: Signed off practice squad
The Titans signed McLendon to their active roster off their practice squad Saturday, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.
McLendon was elevated from the practice squad ahead of last week's loss to Tampa Bay and logged 15 defensive snaps, finishing with two assisted tackles. He's now been signed to Tennessee's active roster to provide depth along the defensive line. McLendon was originally signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent after logging six sacks in 12 games for Eastern Kentucky as a redshirt senior last year.
