Chiefs' Wanya Morris: Set for Thursday
Morris (knee) was listed as a full participant at practice Monday and is not on the Chiefs' injury report for Thursday's game against the Ravens, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Morris tweaked his knee in the team's final preseason game, but he can be considered healthy, for now. A third-round selection in 2023, the Oklahoma product is expected to be Kansas City's primary reserve at offensive tackle in 2024.

Chiefs' Wanya Morris: Re-tweaked same injured knee
Coach Andy Reid said Morris re-tweaked the same knee that had been bothering him previously in Thursday night's preseason loss to the Bears, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
"He's going to be OK, give him some time here to rest up. He was doing a nice job when he had the opportunity there," said Reid. Morris had previously been diagnosed with a bone bruise in the knee two weeks ago. He's competing for swing tackle duties in Kansas City behind second-round rookie LT Kingsley Suamataia and RT Jawaan Taylor.

Chiefs' Wanya Morris: Won't return Thursday
Morris has been ruled out for the rest of Thursday's preseason game against Chicago due to a right knee injury, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
Morris sustained the injury on a failed fourth-down attempt in the first quarter. He was able to walk to the locker room under his own power, but he will not return Thursday. The 2023 third-round tackle is slated to serve in a backup role on the Chiefs' offensive line.

Chiefs' Wanya Morris: Arrested for misdemeanor possession
Morris and teammate Chukwuebuka Godrick were arrested on misdemeanor marijuana possession charges Thursday and released on bond Friday, according to Johnson County (Kansas) Sheriff reports, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports.
Morris and Godrick were arrested Thursday night and released on a $2,500 bond Friday. Possession of marijuana is illegal in the state of Kansas. Morris is expected to compete for the starting left tackle spot for the Chiefs in 2024. It's unclear whether Morris will face supplemental discipline from the NFL or the Chiefs as a result of this arrest.
