  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Scores first TD of season

Robinson caught two of four targets for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Commanders.

While the third-year wideout saw little volume, something that was true for every Giant other than rookie Malik Nabers (10-127-1 on 18 targets), Robinson was on the other end of a seven-yard Daniel Jones TD early in the fourth quarter. Robinson caught only one touchdown in each of his first two NFL seasons, but he should easily top that mark in 2024 if he can stay healthy, even if he's just a secondary read for Jones behind Nabers. Robinson faces a tough challenge in Week 3 against a stingy Browns secondary.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Targeted 12 times in opener

Robinson caught six of 12 targets for 44 yards and added a 14-yard run in Sunday's 28-6 loss to the Vikings.

Robinson was frequently targeted near the line of scrimmage and finished with five more targets than second-place Malik Nabers, though Nabers led the team with 66 receiving yards. The Giants' entire passing game will continue to struggle barring significant improvement from quarterback Daniel Jones, who threw for just 186 yards on 42 pass attempts (4.4 yards per attempt) with a 0:2 TD:INT. A Week 2 trip to Washington could be just what the Giants need, as Jones is 5-1-1 with a 10:3 TD:INT against the Commanders in his career.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Nabs lone target in preseason loss

Robinson caught his only target for 13 yards Saturday in an exhibition loss to the Texans.

Darius Slayton and Malik Nabers were the Giants' top receivers with 59 and 54 yards, respectively, Saturday, and that duo figures to lead the team's receiver corps throughout the campaign. However, Robinson could still see plenty of opportunities as a slot and possession receiver, with his fantasy value more promising in PPR leagues. Saturday marked Robinson's first action of the preseason, as he was held out of the New York's exhibition opener against Detroit.
