Steelers' Daequan Hardy: Reverts to IR
Hardy (undisclosed) reverted to Pittsburgh's injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Hardy is now set to remain with the Steelers despite having previously been waived with an injury designation. As the 24-year-old will be forced to miss the entirety of the upcoming campaign, he will now shift his focus to getting healthy for the 2027 season.

Bills' Daequan Hardy: Back in action
Hardy (shoulder) recorded four total tackles (two solo) in Saturday's 23-19 preseason win over the Buccaneers.
Hardy returned to action after suffering a shoulder injury in the Bills' preseason opener against the Giants. The cornerback played all 57 of the team's defensive snaps in the contest and also added six snaps with the special-teams unit. Hardy remains an unlikely candidate to stick around the initial 53-man roster in Buffalo, but he certainly could join the team's practice squad in 2025.

Bills' Daequan Hardy: Unlikely to return Saturday
Hardy is doubtful to return to Saturday's preseason game against the Giants due to a shoulder injury.
Hardy suffered the injury during a punt return and will undergo X-rays to determine the severity of the injury. The rookie sixth-rounder is competing for a depth spot at corner on the Bills' 53-man roster.

Bills' Daequan Hardy: Heading to Buffalo
The Bills selected Hardy in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 219th overall.
The Bills targeted an interesting project at cornerback with the Hardy selection. Hardy never carved out a starting job at Penn State and will turn 23 in June, but he also played 48 games in Happy Valley. He's small at 5-foot-9 and 179 pounds, meaning he'll work exclusively out of the slot. At the same time, he has 4.38 speed and had a 42.5-inch vertical at the combine. Hardy also had two punt return touchdowns in 2023, which takes the sting out of the Bills losing Deonte Harty this offseason.
