  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Won't play against Dallas

Moore (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Moore was held out of practice all week due to an ankle injury that he picked up during the Packers' Week 5 win against the Bears. The injury is severe enough for him to be sidelined for Sunday's game, so Bo Melton, Kaleb Johnson and Matthew Golden figure to be the top candidates to take over return duties on kickoffs and punts. Moore's next opportunity to play is Week 7 against the Lions on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Sits out again Thursday

Moore (ankle) remained a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Moore injured his ankle in the Week 5 win over the Bears and seems to be trending toward a Week 6 absence Sunday against the Cowboys, which would open the door for Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant to take on larger roles behind Christian Watson and Matthew Golden. The Packers would also need to find an alternative option to return kickoffs and punts if Moore sits, with Sturdivant, Melton, Golden and Pierre Strong among the top candidates to contribute in those situations.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Unable to practice Wednesday

Moore (ankle) did not participate at the Packers' practice Wednesday.

Moore was sidelined at practice to open the week, as expected. The wide receiver suffered an ankle injury during the team's 31-7 victory over Chicago in Week 5, and he was using a scooter to get around the locker room while his left foot was in a boot Wednesday, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Moore seems unlikely to be available for Week 6, and if he is unable to play, Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant would both be candidates to see an increase in opportunities on offense versus Dallas.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Not practicing to kick off Week 6

Moore (ankle) wasn't spotted at Wednesday's practice, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

Moore will open Week 6 prep as a non-participant after he made an early exit from this past Sunday's 31-7 win over the Bears due to the ankle injury. He'll have two more chances to potentially get back on the practice field before the Packers decide on his status for this Sunday's game against the Cowboys. If Moore isn't available to play, Bo Melton would likely step in as the Packers' No. 3 wideout behind Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Shut down for rest of Week 5

The Packers ruled out Moore (ankle) for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Bears.

Moore hauled in his lone target for no gain before exiting the contest early in the second quarter. With Moore done for the rest of the afternoon, Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant are expected to serve as the Packers' primary kickoff returners, while Matthew Golden will likely take over on punt returns. The Packers will also rely on Melton and Sturdivant to fill in for Moore at the No. 3 receiver spot.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Managing knee issue, iffy to return

Moore is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bears due to an ankle injury.

Moore headed to the locker room in the second quarter to receive further evaluation on his ankle injury. Before departing, Moore reeled in his lone target for no gain. If Moore is unable to check back into the game, the Packers will rely on Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant to handle the No. 3 receiver role, while Matthew Golden will likely fill in for Moore on punt returns.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: One catch in win

Moore caught one of two targets for minus-two yards while also adding 52 kickoff-return yards and 19 yards as a punt returner during Sunday's 17-14 win over the Buccaneers.

Moore was unable to build off his seven targets from Week 3, garnering his fewest targets since Week 1 in the team's marginal victory versus Tampa Bay. The 26-year-old doesn't carry much upside as a fantasy asset, and he figures to operate as a distant No. 3 option at wide receiver behind Christian Watson and Matthew Golden moving forward.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Elevated to WR3 role with Reed done

Coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Moore will be the next man up at wide receiver after it was announced Jayden Reed (neck) will undergo season-ending surgery, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

With Reed out last Thursday night against the Falcons, Moore played 34 of 66 offensive snaps and ran 27 routes on Jordan Love's 55 dropbacks. Moore caught three of seven targets for 31 yards. He's expected to fight for scraps behind all three of Matthew Golden, Christian Watson and Tucker Kraft in the pecking order for targets.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Sees seven targets in Week 3 loss

Moore logged three catches on seven targets for 31 yards while adding 134 yards on five kickoff returns during the Packers' 35-14 loss to the Falcons on Thursday.

Moore has seen his playing time on offense steadily increase over the first three games of the regular season, and his 34 snaps on offense Thursday were third-most among wide receivers behind Matthew Golden (54) and Christian Watson (53). Not only were Moore's seven targets third-most among Green Bay wide receivers, they were also a career high for the 2022 second-rounder. The Packers' ground game has struggled due to injuries on the offensive line and the absence of Josh Jacobs (personal), which could mean a higher scoring floor for Moore and the rest of Green Bay's pass catchers.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Sees more action in Week 2

Moore caught two of three targets for six yards during Sunday's 20-17 overtime win versus the Jets.

Moore logged just four snaps in the 39-22 loss to the Vikings in Week 1, though it was a different story in Week 2, with the wideout appearing in 21 of the Packers' 59 offensive snaps against the Jets, finishing behind Christian Watson (53) and Matthew Golden (51) after Jayden Reed (back) lasted just two offensive plays. However, despite the increased workload, Moore didn't do anything meaningful for fantasy managers. That's not expected to change anytime soon, even if Watson or Golden aren't available at some point moving ahead.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Logs 17 return yards versus Vikings

Moore failed to catch his only target and returned two punts for 17 yards during Green Bay's loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Moore saw the majority of his playing time on special teams, seeing 11 snaps compared to only four on offense. The 2022 second-round pick of the Chiefs will likely continue to serve as the Packers' primary returner going forward while seeing limited action on offense.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Set to return punts and kicks

Moore will operate as the Packers' primary retuner on both kicks and punts to open the regular season, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Moore inked a one-year deal with Green Bay in March, and he'll step in as the team's go-to option on both kicks and punts. The wide receiver notched 907 kickoff-return yards and 291 yards as a punt returner over 17 regular-season contests with San Francisco last year. Moore has combined to catch five of 10 targets for 87 yards over the last two campaigns, so he doesn't carry much fantasy value in 2026.

  • Packers' Skyy Moore: Expected to ink with Green Bay

Moore has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Packers, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports. Per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Moore's deal has a base value of $2.5 million with additional incentives of up to $2 million.

Moore was productive while operating as a return man for the 49ers in 2025, totaling 907 kickoff return yards and 291 yards on punts across 17 regular-season appearances. He also had five catches for 87 yards on seven targets and two carries for 11 yards. Moore figures to primarily contribute in the return game again for his new team, as second-year wideout Savion Williams (foot) already projects for a gadget role on offense. Moore and Williams figure to also compete for opportunities returning kicks.

  • 49ers' Skyy Moore: Finds home in SF as return man

Moore finished the 2025 regular season with five receptions for 87 yards, two carries for 11 yards and 1,198 combined return yards in 17 appearances.

Moore was traded to the 49ers this past offseason after falling out of favor as a receiver during his three years with the Chiefs. The shifty wideout was used sparingly on offense (seven touches for 98 yards), but he solidified a role on special teams as San Francisco's primary return man. Moore appeared in all 17 games this regular season and finished with career highs in kickoff-return yards (907) and punt-return yards (291). The 24-year-old is a strong candidate to return to the 49ers next season after thriving as the team's return specialist in 2025.

  • 49ers' Skyy Moore: Notches first down on rush

Moore carried once for 10 yards and brought back two punts for 11 yards and four kickoffs for 92 yards in Sunday's 42-38 win over the Bears.

Moore played just four of the 49ers' 72 snaps on offense in the win, but he made his mark during his time on the field. His 10-yard carry early in the second quarter was good for a first down, extending a drive that culminated in Brock Purdy's three-yard rushing touchdown. Moore also made a splash on special teams, with his 92 kickoff return yards marking his fourth-best total of the season. He'll continue to serve as the 49ers' top return man in Saturday's regular-season finale versus the Seahawks.

  • 49ers' Skyy Moore: Returns kickoff 98 yards Sunday

Moore was not targeted as a receiver while returning two kicks for 107 combined yards in Sunday's 41-22 win over Arizona.

Moore got things cooking for the 49ers when he ran back the game's opening kickoff for 98 yards. The return specialist was run down at the one-yard line, which opened the door for Christian McCaffrey to finish off the easiest opening scoring drive in recent memory. Moore's impact was only felt in the return game, as he did not garner a target in the blowout win with Ricky Pearsall (knee) back in the fold. Fantasy managers can expect similar involvement from Moore in next Monday's tilt against Carolina.
