Hill was waived by the Texans on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Hill has appeared in five regular-season games with Houston so far this year, registering four total tackles (two solo) while playing primarily with the special-teams unit. The linebacker will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, there's a strong chance he returns to the Texans as a member of the team's practice squad.
