Panthers' Xavier Legette: Three grabs in Germany win
Rotowire
Legette secured three of four targets for 40 yards in the Panthers' 20-17 overtime win over the Giants in Munich on Sunday.
Legette tied Jalen Coker for the team lead in receptions while falling just a yard short of his teammate's team-high figure in that category. Legette has been busy during Bryce Young's current three-game starting stint -- the wideout now sports an 11-117-2 line in that span -- and he should continue enjoying a steady role during a Week 12 home matchup against the Chiefs on Sunday, Nov. 24 following a Week 11 bye, even if Adam Thielen (IR, hamstring) returns for that contest.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
I'd like to see more targets for Legette, but he's scored four touchdowns in his past six games, including two in a row, and he's worth using as a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in Week 10 against the Giants in Germany. In his past two games, Legette has 13 targets for eight catches, 67 yards, and two touchdowns, and he scored at least 13.4 PPR points in each outing against Denver and New Orleans. The Giants have allowed nine receivers to score at least 11 PPR points in their past five games, so Legette should have a safe floor with a potential high ceiling if Bryce Young gives him more chances in this game.
With Diontae Johnson and Jonathan Mingo shipped off there is a real opportunity for a 30% target share from Legette rest of season. Those targets won't be as valuable if the team sticks with Bryce Young, but he should still be a WR3. I would be slightly less excited about him if Adam Thielen returns to the team healthy.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Week 10 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Legette has become the No. 1 receiver for the Panthers, and he scored a touchdown in four of the past six games coming into Week 10 against the Giants in Germany. He has 13 targets in his past two games but only eight catches for 67 yards over that span. Still, given his role in Carolina and recent production, Legette is worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Key role in close win
Rotowire
Legette brought in four of six targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 23-22 win over the Saints on Sunday. He also rushed once for six yards.
Legette shared the team lead in receptions with Ja'Tavion Sanders and set the pace in targets as well, and the rookie recorded two particularly critical catches. Legette tallied his fourth touchdown of his career on a three-yard grab early in the second quarter to give Carolina its first points of the day, and he also came down with a 26-yard catch over the middle on third-and-10 during the Panthers' game-winning drive. Legette has an 8-67-2 line on 13 targets over the last two games while working with Bryce Young, so he'll head into a Week 10 matchup against the Giants in Germany trending in the right direction.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Back in Sunday's game
Rotowire
Legette (hand) returned to Sunday's game versus the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Legette exited late in the second quarter due to a hand injury but was able to get back on the field after halftime. He'll be looking build upon the two catches (on two targets) for three yards and one touchdown and one carry for six yards that he accrued in the first half.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Exits Sunday's game
Rotowire
Legette exited Sunday's game against the Saints with a hand injury, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Prior to his exit, Legette caught both of his targets for three yards and a TD and carried once for six yards. In his absence, Jalen Coker, David Moore, Jonathan Mingo and Deven Thompkins are available at wideout for the Panthers.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Intends to take field Sunday
Rotowire
Legette (toe), who is officially questionable for Sunday's Week 9 clash against New Orleans, plans to play, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Legette popped up on the injury report Thursday due to a toe injury and ended the week with a pair of limited practices. He was deemed questionable heading into the weekend, but it looks like he'll give it a go versus the Saints. With Diontae Johnson traded to the Ravens on Tuesday, Legette takes over as Carolina's de facto No. 1 wideout, and he'll look to build upon the three receiving touchdowns he's scored over the past five weeks, though he's averaging a modest 3.2 catches for 26.8 yards during that span.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
I wish Andy Dalton (thumb) was starting in Week 9 against the Saints when it comes to Legette, but he can still be used as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in deeper leagues. With Diontae Johnson traded to Baltimore, Legette should be the No. 1 receiver for the Panthers, and he just had a solid game with Young in Week 8 at Denver. Legette had four catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on seven targets against the Broncos, and he's now scored a touchdown in three of his past five games. The Saints are No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and I hope Young and Legette can connect again for solid production in Week 9.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Added to injury report
Rotowire
Legette was limited at Thursday's practice due to a toe injury, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Legette is a midweek addition to Carolina's practice report, so his status bears watching Friday to see if he may be in danger of sitting out (or being inhibited) Sunday versus the Saints. In the wake of the Diontae Johnson trade earlier this week, Legette is in line to pace the Panthers' receiving corps moving forward, but the current health concern may throw a wrench into those expectations in the short term.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Week 9 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Diontae Johnson was traded to Baltimore on Tuesday, which means Legette and Jalen Coker (1 percent rostered) are poised for bigger roles, at least until Adam Thielen (hamstring) is healthy. Legette has scored a touchdown in three of his past five games, and hopefully, Andy Dalton (thumb) can return soon for the Panthers, which would help everyone. I like Legette as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues heading into Week 9 against the Saints, and he's worth adding for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB. Coker just had four catches for 78 yards and a touchdown on six targets against Denver, and he's worth adding in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB. You can also take a flier on Thielen (21 percent), and hopefully, he can return to action soon.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Tops depth chart with Johnson out
Rotowire
Legette is in position for a larger role Sunday against the Broncos, as the Panthers will be without Diontae Johnson (rib) and Adam Thielen (hamstring), Kassidy Hill of the Panthers' official site reports.
Legette could work as the top option in a depleted Panthers receiving corps that also includes Jalen Coker, David Moore and Jonathan Mingo. Denver boasts one of the league's stingiest secondaries, and the Broncos could get top cornerback Patrick Surtain (concussion) back from a one-game absence. Legette has caught 18 of 28 targets for 177 yards and two touchdowns through seven games. The Panthers will have Bryce Young rather than Andy Dalton (thumb) at quarterback Sunday.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Just two catches vs. Commanders
Rotowire
Legette caught two of his three targets for three yards in Sunday's 40-7 loss to the Commanders. He also rushed once for six yards.
All three of Legette's touches came in the second half, possibly benefiting from a favorable game script with the Panthers trailing by as much as 37. The 2024 first-round pick is projected to continue serving as the Panthers' No. 2 wide receiver while Adam Thielen (hamstring) remains sidelined. However, it's unclear how much fantasy value he'll posses moving forward with Carolina's recent offensive struggles.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
Washington is No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers, which makes Diontae Johnson a must-start receiver in all leagues, and Legette is a starter in three-receiver leagues. Legette caught a touchdown in Week 6 against Atlanta, and he now has a touchdown in each of his past two healthy games (he left Week 5 at Chicago with a shoulder injury). Let's hope he can find the end zone again in Week 7, and Washington is tied with Baltimore with the most touchdowns allowed to receivers this year with 10.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Week 7 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Legette caught a touchdown in Week 6 against Atlanta, and he now has a touchdown in each of his past two healthy games (he left Week 5 at Chicago with a shoulder injury). Until Adam Thielen (hamstring) returns from IR, Legette should be considered the No. 2 receiver for the Panthers behind Diontae Johnson, and that makes Legette a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in most leagues, especially in Week 7 against Washington. He's worth adding for 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Logs full practice Wednesday
Rotowire
Legette (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Legette made an early departure from this past Sunday's loss in Chicago due to a shoulder injury, and he underwent tests on his AC joint earlier this week. Those tests must have turned up nothing too serious, considering he handled all on-field work Wednesday. The same can't be said for fellow wide receiver Diontae Johnson (ankle), who remained limited for a third straight practice going back to last week.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Doesn't expect to miss time
Rotowire
Legette (shoulder) said Monday he expects to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Falcons, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Legette is set to undergo imaging tests Monday to determine whether he sustained an AC joint injury while being forced out of Week 5's loss to the Bears, but the rookie first-round pick doesn't anticipate having to miss any time. Nonetheless, fantasy managers will want to monitor Legette's practice activity leading up to Week 6 action. If Legette is able to practice in at least a limited capacity Wednesday, it will bode well for his chances of suiting up versus Atlanta.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Getting AC joint tested
Rotowire
Legette (shoulder) said Monday he is expected to undergo imaging tests on his AC Joint, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Legette was forced out of Sunday's loss to the Bears with a shoulder injury, and it appears the Panthers are concerned about the possibility of an AC joint injury. The results of Monday's imaging tests will reveal more about the rookie first-round pick's expected recovery timetable, though it's possible Carolina won't offer an actionable update until Wednesday's first official injury report of Week 6. In the event that Legette isn't cleared to face the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 13, Jalen Coker will get a chance to work alongside Diontae Johnson and Jonathan Mingo in three-wide sets.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Leaves with shoulder injury
Rotowire
Legette exited Sunday's game against the Bears with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
Coming off his big Week 4 against the Bengals, Legette was mostly a non-factor versus Chicago prior to leaving in the second half. The rookie saw just one target before exiting, catching it for a gain of eight yards. Diontae Johnson and Jonathan Mingo will work in two-wide sets while Legette is sidelined.
Legette was my top stash last week, and now, in terms of rest-of-season production, he may actually be the prize of the waiver wire after he saw 10 targets in his first game without Adam Theilen. As long as Andy Dalton is the starter and Theilen is on IR, you can trust Legette as a WR3. If things really click for him in the second half, he may be even more than a WR3.
