Ben Baby of ESPN.com previously reported that Burton didn't travel to Buffalo for non-injury related reasons, with Tom Pelissero of NFL Network subsequently noting that Burton was suspended for Sunday's contest. Burton has yet to play this season, as he was a healthy scratch in 11 of 12 games this season. Now that he's back to full strength, he's not guaranteed to return to the lineup, although he'll have a better chance to play if Tee Higgins (concussion) is unable to go. Burton was unable to play in the Bengals' 32-14 win over the Ravens on Thanksgiving Day due to an ankle injury. The injury appears severe enough for the second-year pro that a multi-game absence is on the table, and he faces an uphill battle to be available for Cincinnati's Week 14 clash against Buffalo on Sunday, Dec. 7.
