Steelers' Roman Wilson: Minimal role to end 2025 campaign
Wilson secured 12 of 21 targets for 166 yards and two touchdowns over 13 regular-season appearances in 2025.
After missing most of his rookie season in 2024 due to injuries, Wilson had some encouraging performances in 2025, highlighted by a midseason stretch in which he had five performances with double-digit receiving yards in a span of six games. However, his role diminished down the stretch, and he was a healthy scratch in four of the team's last six regular-season matchups. Wilson could have some streaming appeal in 2026, but he'll likely have trouble carving out consistent fantasy relevance throughout the season.

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Inactive Sunday night
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday Night Football against the Ravens.
The wide receiver is now a healthy scratch for the fourth time in five weeks, though he did play nine offensive snaps against the Browns in Week 17. Even with DK Metcalf out due to a suspension, Calvin Austin, Adam Thielen, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Scotty Miller and Ben Skowronek are ahead of Wilson on the depth chart.

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Healthy scratch again Week 16
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's clash against Detroit.
This is the third straight week that Wilson is a healthy inactive. Prior to this run, he had been seeing steady offensive snaps. However, the Steelers' signing of Adam Thielen appears to have pushed Wilson out of the wideout pecking order.

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Healthy inactive for Week 15
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday night's game against the Dolphins, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Wilson will be a healthy scratch for a second consecutive game, coinciding with the addition of veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen to the active roster. Wilson's next chance to play is Sunday against the Lions, but the second-year pro is unlikely to play in that contest unless the Steelers suffer an injury to their wide receiver corps.

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Healthy scratch
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Ravens, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
The Steelers added Adam Thielen and elevated Marquez Valdes-Scantling from the practice squad this week, giving their wide-receiver corps some depth. That pushed Wilson down the depth chart, though the team opted to make Scotty Miller active ahead of him, after Miller had previously been a healthy scratch. This will mark Wilson's first missed game of the season.

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Held without catch once again
Wilson failed to secure his lone target during Sunday's 26-7 loss to the Bills.
Wilson had double-digit receiving yards in five of six appearances following the Steelers' Week 5 bye, but he's failed to secure any of his four targets over the past two games. Over his 12 appearances this season, Wilson has secured 12 of 21 targets for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

Steelers' Roman Wilson: No catches in Week 12
Wilson failed to secure either of his two targets during Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Bears.
Wilson had recorded at least one catch in each of his last six games, but he failed to establish a connection with quarterback Mason Rudolph in Chicago on Sunday. Wilson also was on the field for just 28 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps, which was his lowest mark since Week 6. He's shown some glimpses of production this season but hasn't been a very reliable fantasy option.
