  • Brandon Hayes: Waived by Eagles

Hayes was waived by the Eagles on Thursday, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

The wide receiver was also let go by Philadelphia on Aug. 15 before signing with the team again six days later. Hayes was waived Thursday to make room for another receiver, Tahj Washington. Hayes initially signed with Philly in May as an undrafted free agent.

  • Eagles' Brandon Hayes: Signs with Philly again

The Eagles signed Hayes to a contract Friday.

Haynes was waived by the Eagles last Saturday but has quickly found his way back to the team. The wide receiver likely gains another chance at the active roster due to Johnny Wilson (knee) being waived with an injury designation. Haynes may see some reps in Saturday's preseason game against the Patriots even though last Saturday made it clear he is one of the more expendable players currently on the roster.

  • Brandon Hayes: Let go by Philadelphia

The Eagles waived Hayes on Saturday.

Hayes signed a contract with the Eagles last Wednesday. The wide receiver's stint with the team was always bound to be quick, as he was signed as a plug-and-play option while the main corps got healthy. The Eagles have their preseason opener Saturday night against the Ravens, and Dontayvion Wicks and Hollywood Brown are set to be the stars of the show for the team's wide receiving corps.

  • Eagles' Brandon Hayes: Back with Philly

The Eagles signed Hayes to a contract Wednesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

The undrafted rookie originally signed with the Eagles in late May but was waived a week later. Since that time, the wide receiver room has had multiple injuries. DeVonta Smith (hamstring), Makai Lemon (hamstring) and Britain Covey (hamstring) all went down with the same injury, leaving some training camp snaps open for Hayes to take advantage of.
