Rams' Jaylen Watson: Diagnosed with dislocated shoulder
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Watson suffered a dislocated shoulder in Sunday night's loss to the Broncos, and he's likely to miss next Sunday's game against the Eagles, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
It's another big loss for this veteran Rams team, as the defense is already dealing with injuries to Myles Garrett (knee) and Kamren Kinchens (hamstring) on defense while Puka Nacua (hip) has missed the last two games and Terrance Ferguson (ankle) appears likely to miss Week 4 for the offense. Emmanuel Forbes saw increased reps opposite Trent McDuffie at cornerback against Denver following Watson's injury.

Rams' Jaylen Watson: Plays every defensive snap Week 1
Watson tallied four tackles (two solo) during the Rams' 27-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 1.
Watson was working through a toe injury leading up to the Rams' regular-season opener, though the issue didn't appear to be a severe one as he played all 65 defensive snaps. Watson was a full-time starter for the Chiefs in 2025, playing 90 percent or more of the team's defensive snaps in 14 of the 16 regular-season games he played in. Watson signed a three-year contract with the Rams in March to start opposite fellow former Chief Trent McDuffie at outside corner. The Rams gave up 205 passing yards and three touchdowns to Brock Purdy in Week 1, so Watson and the secondary will look for better results in Week 2 against the Giants on Monday, Sept. 21.

Rams' Jaylen Watson: Cleared to face 49ers in Australia
Watson (toe) was a full participant on Thursday's estimated injury report and doesn't carry an injury designation into Thursday night's game against the 49ers, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Watson has been cleared to suit up for the season opener in Melbourne. The offseason addition is expected to start in the Rams' new-look secondary opposite former Chiefs teammate Trent McDuffie. Watson was consistent in his stint with the Chiefs, recording exactly six passes defensed in each of his first four NFL regular seasons.
