  • Saints' Dillon Radunz: Returning to NOLA on two-year deal

Radunz signed a two-year contract with the Saints on Thursday.

Radunz joined the Saints for the 2025 season after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the Titans. He started in 10 of 15 regular-season games for New Orleans last year but will likely operate in a reserve role at guard in 2026 behind projected starters Cesar Ruiz and newcomer David Edwards.

  • Saints' Kaden Elliss: Back to NOLA

Elliss agreed to terms Tuesday on a three-year, $33 million contract with the Saints, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Elliss played nearly every defensive snap for the Falcons over the past three seasons, piling up at least 107 tackles each year while totaling 12.5 sacks and two interceptions in that stretch. Now, he'll return to the team that drafted him in the seventh round back in 2019. The 30-year-old is set to receive $23 million guaranteed, which puts him in a strong position to start at inside linebacker next to Pete Werner in 2026.

  • Saints' Noah Fant: Heading to New Orleans

Fant is set to sign a two-year contract with the Saints, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Fant is unlikely to have much fantasy value, joining a team that signed Juwan Johnson to a three-year extension last offseason. Johnson figures to get most of the playing time in passing situations, with Fant more of a factor on early downs and in multi-TE sets. Anything more than 2-to-3 targets per game likely would depend on Johnson missing time.

  • Saints' David Edwards: Getting $61 million to join Saints

Edwards is signing a four-year, $61 million contract with the Saints on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The former starting left guard for the Bills will likely occupy the same spot in New Orleans after agreeing to a hefty contract with the Saints, which can be finalized Wednesday at the start of the new league year. Edwards has 77 regular-season NFL starts under his belt, split between the Rams and Bills.

  • Saints' Alvin Kamara: Door shut on lead role in NOLA

Kamara (knee) isn't in line to lead the Saints backfield in 2026, as Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Travis Etienne agreed to a four-year, $52 million contract with New Orleans on Monday.

Kamara has been the Saints' primary backfield option when healthy for each of the past eight seasons, starting 92 of the 110 regular-season games in which he has appeared during that stretch after making only three starts in 16 games as a rookie in 2017. Etienne has a similar three-down skill set and is almost four years younger than Kamara, who will turn 31 in July. Kamara agreed to a restructured contract with the Saints in March but still could be cut prior to the 2026 season. Even if Kamara remains on the roster and fully recovers from the MCL injury that sidelined him after Week 12 of the 2025 season, he would likely have to settle for a complementary role barring an injury to New Orleans' new lead back.

  • Saints' Travis Etienne: New lead back for NOLA

Etienne has agreed to terms Monday on a contract with the Saints, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Etienne becomes the clear No. 1 option in a New Orleans backfield that also houses incumbents Alvin Kamara (knee), Kendre Miller (ACL), Devin Neal (hamstring) and Audric Estime. The Louisiana native surpassed 1,000 rushing yards in three of the last four seasons as the leader of Jacksonville's rushing attack, and his combination of speed and three-down skills project as an ideal fit for Saints head coach Kellen Moore's offensive scheme. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Etienne's contract is a four-year, $52 million deal, a commitment that signals he likely will be utilized in a similar workhorse role to the one he attained down the stretch of his tenure with the Jaguars.

  • Saints' John Ridgeway: Re-signs with Saints for two years

Ridgeway signed a two-year, $6.2 million contract with the Saints on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Ridgeway was limited to four appearances in 2025 by a shoulder injury, notching 11 tackles (three solo) for the Saints. In four NFL seasons split between the Commanders and Saints, Ridgeway has contributed 81 tackles (36 solo). He'll likely continue to fill a rotational role along the interior of the defensive line for New Orleans.
