Blues' Thomas Greiss: Takes loss in relief appearance
Greiss allowed three goals on 11 shots in Wednesday's 8-5 loss to the Wild.
Greiss came into the game after Jordan Binnington was ejected following a violent outburst when the Wild scored their fifth goal. The Blues were able to cover that damage, which left an ineffective Greiss with his third loss in his last five outings. The 37-year-old has had a poor season with a 7-9-0 record, a 3.50 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 19 appearances. Binnington received a match penalty and could be suspended for his actions, at which point Greiss would likely take over the starting duties.

Blues' Thomas Greiss: Busy night in win
Greiss made 37 saves in a 5-2 win over Columbus on Saturday.
It was a busy night for Greiss, who has won two straight games. He hasn't seen much ice time since starting four games in January. Greiss started just one game in February and has two starts in March. With such limited ice time, he really isn't a viable fantasy option for a struggling Blues squad.

Blues' Thomas Greiss: No help in loss
Greiss stopped 20 of 25 shots in Thursday's 5-0 loss to the Coyotes.
Greiss kept the Coyotes off the board for over 30 minutes, but Nick Schmaltz posted a natural hat trick in 9:18 of game time. It was downhill from there, as the Coyotes scored twice more in the third period to send Greiss to his second loss in three outings. He's down to 5-7-0 with a 3.22 GAA and a .909 save percentage in 15 contests this season. Both Greiss and Jordan Binnington have been inconsistent lately, making it tough to trust either of them in fantasy in a matchup versus the Avalanche on Saturday.

Blues' Thomas Greiss: Surrenders four goals
Greiss gave up four goals on 32 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken.
Greiss couldn't keep the Blues' four-game winning streak going. He didn't get much help from his defensemen, who looked tired in the second half of a back-to-back, leading to multiple chances (and two goals) off the rush for the Kraken. Greiss slipped to 4-5-0 with a 3.55 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 11 contests this season. The Blues wrap up their road trip Friday in Vegas, and it's likely Jordan Binnington will make that start.
