  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Makes relief appearance

Bobrovsky stopped two of three shots he faced in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Lightning. Daniil Tarasov (lower body) exited the game in the third period, and Bobrovsky took over in net. The game was already out of hand by the time Bobrovsky entered, but he didn't have a good performance. He remains at 21-17-1 with a 3.13 GAA and an .871 save percentage over 40 appearances this season. If Tarasov's injury proves significant, Bobrovsky may be pressed into a larger role after the Olympic break.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Hangs on for shootout win

Bobrovsky turned aside 25 shots in regulation and overtime and three of four shootout attempts during Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Bruins. The Panthers took a 4-2 lead into the third period, but Bobrovsky nearly let it slip away, giving up goals to Mark Kastelic and Casey Mittelstadt to force OT. However, the two-time Vezina winner came up big in the clutch, as only Viktor Arvidsson got a puck past him in the shootout. Bobrovsky is likely looking forward to the Olympic break -- over 12 outings since the beginning of January, he's stumbled to a 4-8-0 record with a 3.86 GAA and .833 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Tending twine against Boston

Bobrovsky will start Wednesday's home game against the Bruins. Bobrovsky has had trouble picking up wins since the start of the calendar year, going 3-8-0 with a 3.87 GAA and .829 save percentage over his last 11 starts, including losses in his last three outings. The Bruins are tied for seventh in the league with 3.38 goals per game, but Bobrovsky made a road start against Boston on Oct. 21 and turned aside 28 of 31 shots (.903 save percentage) in a 4-3 victory.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Eighth loss in last 11 starts

Bobrovsky made 15 saves on 20 shots in a 5-3 loss to Buffalo on Monday. Florida is in trouble right now -- it's 10 points behind Buffalo for the first wild-card spot, and nine points behind Boston for the second one. Bobrovsky has lost three straight, five of his last six, and eight of his last 11 starts (3-8-0). He can use some rest and fast -- the Olympic break will hopefully give him the R&R he needs.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: First goalie off Monday

Bobrovsky was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Sabres. Bobrovsky has alternated starts with Daniil Tarasov over the past few weeks, but the former will draw a second consecutive start Monday for the first time since mid-January. Bobrovsky is in the midst of a cold spell in which he's gone 1-4-0 with a 4.00 GAA and .839 save percentage over his last five outings.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Gets little help in Saturday's loss

Bobrovsky turned aside 19 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Jets. The veteran netminder blanked the visitors through the first 40 minutes, but after the Panthers' offense wasn't able to get much going through the first two frames, their defense collapsed as well in the third. Since a nine-goal disaster against the Hurricanes on Jan. 16, Bobrovsky has rallied somewhat, but he's still gone just 1-3-0 over his last four starts with a 2.75 GAA and .875 save percentage while working in a strict timeshare with Daniil Tarasov, who has a 3-1-0 record, 2.21 GAA and .905 save percentage over that same stretch.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting Saturday

Bobrovsky will defend the home goal versus Winnipeg on Saturday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site. Bobrovsky has been sharing the net with Daniil Tarasov over the last eight games. The 37-year-old Bobrovsky has a 20-15-1 record in 2025-26 with a 3.08 GAA and an .874 save percentage. Winnipeg ranks 22nd in the NHL with 2.89 goals per game this season.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Three goals allowed in loss

Bobrovsky made 16 saves in a 4-3 loss to Utah on Tuesday. He allowed three goals. The Mammoth scored into an empty net to push the score to 4-2 before Florida notched its third goal in the last minute of play. Bobrovsky is tied for fifth in the NHL in wins with 20, but his 3.08 GAA and .874 save percentage are well below league averages (2.86; .897) this season. This future Hall-of-Famer's fantasy value is tied up in those wins, a little like Alexandar Georgiev's was a few seasons ago. Bob is a far better goalie, but we could be witnessing the wear-and-tear of three long Stanley Cup runs, including two championships, on a now 37-year-old twinetender. Your league settings will determine where his value lands.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Guarding home net Tuesday

Bobrovsky will start Tuesday's home clash with the Mammoth, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports. After resting for the second half of Florida's most recent back-to-back, Bobrovsky will look for his second consecutive victory after a 4-3 overtime win over Minnesota on Saturday. Overall, the 37-year-old netminder has a 20-14-1 record, a 3.08 GAA and an .875 save percentage across 35 appearances this season. He'll face a middle-of-the-road Mammoth offense that is scoring 3.13 goals per game this season. Utah was shut out by Tampa Bay on Monday, which could give Bobrovsky the edge in Tuesday's matchup with the Mammoth on the second half of a back-to-back.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Fends off Wild in overtime

Bobrovsky stopped 18 of 21 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild. Bobrovsky got back in the win column after allowing 12 goals on 63 shots over his previous two losses. The 37-year-old still wasn't all that sharp, but the return of Brad Marchand gave the Panthers a big boost on offense. For the season, Bobrovsky is up to 20-14-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .875 save percentage through 35 starts, his worst numbers in his seven seasons with the Panthers. He'll likely rest for Sunday's game versus the Blackhawks -- look for Daniil Tarasov to make that road start.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Between pipes Saturday

Bobrovsky will defend the road goal in Minnesota on Saturday, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports. Bobrovsky has struggled in the month of January, posting a 2-5-0 record with a 4.22 GAA and an .824 save percentage. Overall, the 37-year-old is 19-14-1 with three shutouts, a 3.09 GAA and an .875 save percentage. Bobrovsky will attempt to turn it around against the Wild, who are tied for 14th in league scoring, averaging 3.17 goals per game.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Gets little help in loss

Bobrovsky turned aside 24 of 27 shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Sharks, with San Jose's final goal getting scored into an empty net. All three goals Bobrovsky allowed came in a six-minute stretch early in the second period, but the Panthers didn't even get on the board until the third. The veteran netminder is having an awful January, going 2-5-0 in seven starts with a 4.22 GAA and an .824 save percentage while playing behind a Florida blue line missing two stalwarts in Seth Jones (upper body) and Dmitry Kulikov (upper body).

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Facing Sharks

Bobrovsky will patrol the home crease against San Jose on Monday, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site. Bobrovsky allowed nine goals on 36 shots in Friday's 9-1 blowout loss to Carolina. He has a 19-13-1 record with a 3.09 GAA, an .875 save percentage and three shutouts across 33 appearances this season. San Jose sits 16th in the league with 3.11 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Late collapse in Carolina

Bobrovsky gave up a career-worst nine goals on 35 shots in Friday's 9-1 loss to the Hurricanes. Carolina dominated play most of the game, outshooting Florida 35-16, but Bobrovsky actually kept things close through two periods before the 'Canes erupted for six goals in the final frame. The outing continues a rough January for the veteran netminder, and Bobrovsky is 2-4-0 over six starts this month with a brutal 4.42 GAA and .810 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Gets starting nod Friday

Bobrovsky will be between the pipes on the road against the Hurricanes on Friday. Bobrovsky will be making his fifth straight appearance in the crease, having gone 2-2-0 with a 3.33 GAA in his last four outings. If the veteran backstop can get one more victory, he will reach the 20-win mark for the fifth consecutive season, and he should still be capable of getting to 30.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Earns second straight win

Bobrovsky stopped 20 of 23 shots on net in Monday's 4-3 win over the Sabres. Bobrovsky played with a lead for the majority of the contest and allowed just one goal in each period en route to his second straight win. With Monday's victory, the 37-year-old netminder is up to a 19-12-1 record with a 2.90 GAA and an .881 save percentage through 32 outings this season. While his play hasn't been what it was over the previous two seasons, he's done enough to earn his way into the win column nine times since Dec. 6. With the Panthers' offense coming to life in their most recent pair of wins, Bobrovsky should continue to benefit as long as he starts to trend towards a .900 save percentage on the season. His next chance to take the ice is Friday in Carolina.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting against Buffalo

Bobrovsky will start Monday's road game against Buffalo. Bobrovsky has had somewhat lackluster results since the start of the calendar year, going 1-3-0 with 14 goals allowed on 79 shots (.823 save percentage) over his last four outings. However, he's coming off a win over Ottawa on Saturday and will attempt to build upon his momentum against the Sabres, who rank 12th in the NHL with 3.19 goals per game. Bobrovsky made a road start against Buffalo on Oct. 18 and turned aside 28 of 31 shots (.903 save percentage) in a 3-0 loss.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Holds on for win

Bobrovsky stopped 17 of 19 shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Senators. Bobrovsky gave up a goal early and another one late but held firm in between to get his team back in the win column. The 37-year-old netminder now has an 18-12-1 record with a 2.90 GAA and an .881 save percentage through 31 games this season. The win was his first of the calendar year across four tries. While his overall quality of play has taken a step back since last year, Bobrovsky has a chance to turn his season around as the desperation level rises for the back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in the second half of the campaign. He remains on pace for his third consecutive year with 30-plus wins, giving him solid fantasy value in most two-goalie formats moving forward.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting in Ottawa

Bobrovsky will guard the visiting cage in Ottawa on Saturday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Bobrovsky has slumped of late, losing four of his last five games while giving up 18 goals on 118 shots (.838 save percentage). Bobrovsky is 17-12-1 with three shutouts, a 2.93 GAA and an .881 save percentage in 2025-26. Ottawa has generated 3.16 goals per game, which ranks 11th in the NHL this season.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Fourth loss in last five starts

Bobrovsky made 14 saves, allowing five goals, in a 6-2 loss to Montreal on Thursday. Since the Christmas break, Bobrovsky has gone 1-4-0 in five starts with 18 goals allowed. That's an abysmal .838 save percentage for anyone counting. Pre-Cup victories, Bobrovsky was in the crosshairs of fans who thought his play had dropped off badly. Then came the Stanley Cups, and Bob can do no wrong, except with fantasy managers. While unlikely, this future Hall of Famer probably needs to be benched right now.
