While this is set to be a career year in the physical categories for Lindholm, it's come at the cost of offense as he tracks toward his worst scoring campaign since his first three seasons in Carolina.

His goal came on a one-timer from the slot. Lindholm has struggled in Boston, producing just 12 goals and 36 points in 68 games this season. However, he has heated up recently, generating one goal and three assists during his three-game point streak. Lindholm may never return to being a 70-80-point producer, but he has enough talent to go on solid runs to help fantasy managers, and his current success might be one of them.

Lindholm has three helpers during his eight-game goal drought. The 30-year-old center has seen a role reduction in March, slipping to the third-line center spot after the Bruins flipped Charlie Coyle for Casey Mittelstadt at the deadline. While that's not an encouraging sign in the first year of a seven-year deal, Lindholm still functions as a top-six forward thanks to his special-teams play. He has disappointed with 33 points, 122 shots on net, 97 hits, 65 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 66 appearances, and he could miss the 40-point mark for the first time since 2015-16.

Lindholm's tally was the lone goal of the second period, which cut the Bruins' early deficit in half. His power-play tally was his second goal of the season with the man advantage. Overall, Lindholm has 11 goals, 30 points, 96 shots on net and 90 hits in 58 games this season. After skating with Team Sweden in the 4 Nations Face-Off, he has been an instant contributor and is back on Boston's first power-play unit following the injury to Charlie McAvoy (shoulder). While he is well off his career best of 82 points from the 2021-22 campaign, the 30-year-old center has time to surpass his mark of 44 points from a year ago. Lindholm should continue to see top-six minutes and a decent chunk of power-play time.
