Ducks' Robby Fabbri: Lights lamp in overtime win
Fabbri scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over Utah.
Fabbri picked up his first goal as a Duck in his third game with the team. The 28-year-old winger has added five shots on net, seven hits and a plus-1 rating while filling a second-line role. Fabbri has topped the 30-point mark in four of his eight NHL campaigns, but he's never reached 40 points in a season. He also doesn't tend to add big numbers in non-scoring areas and carries significant injury risk, so fantasy managers can likely look elsewhere for forward depth.

Ducks' Robby Fabbri: Pots goal
Fabbri scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Wednesday's 5-2 preseason win over Utah.
Fabbri and Tristan Luneau worked into Utah's zone on a 2-on-1, and Fabbri was able to bury the Ducks' fourth goal. The 28-year-old winger had a bounce-back year with 32 points in 68 games with the Red Wings last season. Staying healthy will be the top priority for Fabbri, who has missed at least 10 games in every season of his career. He'll likely open 2024-25 in a middle-six role, and he should be a candidate to see power-play time after earning a career-best 12 points with the man advantage last year.

Ducks' Robby Fabbri: Dealt to Anaheim
Fabbri and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2025 were traded from the Red Wings to the Ducks on Wednesday in exchange for Gage Alexander.
Fabbri enjoyed relatively good health in 2023-24, posting 32 points in 68 contests. The 28-year-old will still end up as a cap casualty for the Red Wings, as they moved his $4 million cap hit to Anaheim to clear space after signing Vladimir Tarasenko at a $4.5 million cap hit. Fabbri should contend for a middle-six role and power-play time with the Ducks.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Adds helper as Wings snap skid
Fabbri recorded an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Sabres.
Fabbri had only 10 minutes of ice time on the way to the Wings snapping a seven-game losing streak, but he's hanging onto a spot on the No. 1 power play while Dylan Larkin tends to a lower-body injury. Fabbri's latest apple transpired at even strength, with the 28-year-old winger now at 12 assists and 28 total points through 53 games. Fabbri staying healthy is always the focus when analyzing his fantasy prospects, but he's worked past relatively minor injuries to his lower body and face this campaign to keep him from falling off the map completely in deep leagues.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Scores Wednesday
Fabbri scored a goal on four shots in Wednesday's 7-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Fabbri opened the scoring on the power play just 1:48 into the game Wednesday, directing an Alex DeBrincat feed through Alexandar Georgiev to give the Wings an early 1-0 lead. Fabbri now has three goals, two coming on the man advantage, and four points in his last six contests. While the 28-year-old forward has been skating primarily on the fourth line, his usage on Detroit's top power-play unit offers some scoring upside. Fabbri's up to 26 points (16 goals, 10 assists) through 48 games this season.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Powers up in return
Fabbri delivered a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Flames.
Fabbri returned from a two-game absence following the birth of his daughter. The power-play assist originated from his own faceoff that was quickly controlled by Moritz Seider and set up as a one-timer for Patrick Kane. With 13 goals and nine assists through 40 games, Fabbri is not your typical fourth-line contributor. He's added two goals and four assists on the man advantage to stand in place of a traditional checking role.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Back in assist column
Fabbri earned a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Golden Knights.
This was the first helper for Fabbri in nearly a month, but he's lit the lamp four times in that span. He's in the rare group of forwards on track to finish the season with more goals than apples, which speaks volumes about Fabbri's confidence in his shot. The 28-year-old boasts a career high shooting percentage of 27.7 to complement 13 goals and 21 total points through 37 games.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Finds back of net in win
Fabbri lit the lamp on his only shot in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Kings.
Fabbri tracked down the loose puck on a rebound for his 12th goal of the season. The 27-year-old winger leads the league among qualified skaters in shooting percentage (30.8), which suggests his scoring pace isn't sustainable, but he has provided nice value up to this point.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Scores twice Thursday
Fabbri scored a pair of goals in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Kings.
Fabbri got the Red Wings on the board midway through the second period and tallied a go-ahead goal early in the third. While that lead didn't last, it was good to see the winger end a cold snap in which he posted just one assist and a minus-6 rating over 10 contests. Fabbri is up to 11 markers, 18 points, 37 shots on net and a minus-4 rating through 27 appearances. He's doing a little better than he did in 2022-23, when he recorded 16 points over 28 outings.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Making most of playing time
Fabbri boasts a team-high shooting percentage (26.5), and with nine goals and seven assists through 26 games, he's matched his point total from an injury-shortened 2022-23 campaign.
Fabbri has already worked his way past three ACL surgeries, and this season he's sustained less severe injuries to his lower body and face, but the poster boy for perseverance hasn't missed a game in close to two months. Fabbri's banked three game-winning goals and he skates on the No. 2 power-play unit as an added bonus for fantasy managers looking for a productive scorer on a per-minute basis. The veteran winger is producing 2.7 points per 60 minutes of play, which is a career high through nine years of service time.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Another multi-point effort
Fabbri scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Sabres.
The 27-year-old continues to put together the best scoring surge of his career. Fabbri has three multi-point performances in the last four games, and since making a full-time return from a lower-body injury in mid-November, he's erupted for seven goals and 10 points in the last 10 contests. One of Detroit's wingers is going to lose his spot on the power play and in the top nine when Patrick Kane (hip) makes his debut, but Fabbri is doing everything he can to ensure it isn't him.

Red Wings' Robby Fabbri: Lights lamp twice in win
Fabbri scored two goals, one the game-winner and the other a power-play tally, in Thursday's 5-1 victory over Chicago.
It's the first multi-goal performance for Fabbri in almost two years, but the oft-injured winger has been locked in since returning from a lower-body injury in early November, racking up six goals and eight points in the last eight games. Thursday's marker with the man advantage was his first since the Red Wings' season opener back on Oct. 12, but Fabbri's spot on the top power-play unit is likely a temporary one -- Dylan Larkin (undisclosed) should be back by the weekend, and Patrick Kane (hip) is expected to make his Detroit debut soon after that.
