Bruins' David Pastrnak: Keeps point streak alive
Pastrnak scored a goal and took two shots in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Stars.
The Bruins didn't have a chance in this game, but the star winger found a way to leave his mark with a goal in the third period -- his eighth of the season. The 28-year-old has scored in back-to-back games for the third time in 2024-25 and also extended his point streak to four contests, recording two goals and four assists in that span.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Leads charge in comeback win
Pastrnak scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Blues.
The Bruins were down 2-0 heading into the third period, but the 28-year-old superstar took matters into his own hands down the stretch. After stealing the puck in the neutral zone and feeding Morgan Geekie for Boston's first goal early in the final frame, Pastrnak completed the comeback with 1:47 left, blasting a one-timer from the top of the faceoff circle that just squeaked through Jordan Binnington. Pastrnak snapped a seven-game goal drought with the game-winner, but he was far from invisible during that time, collecting six assists. On the season, he's racked up seven goals and 16 points in 17 contests, a disappointing pace considering he's coming off back-to-back campaigns with 110 points or more.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Two helpers Thursday
Pastrnak collected two assists in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames.
The 28-year-old had a hand in each of Boston's first two tallies, and Pastrnak added four shots on net, a hit and a plus-2 rating to his ledger. His production to begin the season has taken a step backward as Bruins coach Jim Montgomery tries to find line combinations that click, but Pastrnak has still delivered six goals and 13 points in 15 contests, and his numbers should pick up -- his 9.4 percent shooting would be a career low.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Benched against Kraken
Pastrnak was benched for the third period of Sunday's 2-0 win over Seattle, Fluto Shinzawa of The Atheltic reports.
Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery has learned to live with a certain amount of Pastrnak's carelessness with the puck, but the forward's giveaway late in the second period tested the coach's patience. It came in the neutral zone while Boston had a power play and led to the Kraken's Yanni Gourde getting three shots on net and a chance to get Seattle back in the game. The Bruins have underperformed thus far and heat is coming down on Montgomery, who is in the final year of a contract -- his job is on the line and the pressure on him showed earlier this season in an interaction on the bench with Brad Marchand. A two-game win streak over the weekend, when his club shut out the Flyers and Kraken, relieves some of the pressure on the coach as Boston prepares for Tuesday's road game in Toronto. Pastrnak should return to his spot on the top line. He remains Boston's top scorer (six goals, 11 points) but has just one five-on-five goal (3.03 shooting percentage) and has yet to gel with offseason acquisition Elias Lindholm.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Two helpers against Canes
Pastrnak collected two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 8-2 loss to Carolina.
The 28-year-old superstar produced his third multi-point performance of the season, even on a disastrous night for the Bruins. Pastrnak has had a slow start to the campaign, at least by his standards, and through 11 contests, he's delivered six goals and 10 points while adding 45 shots on net, 14 PIM and a minus-5 rating.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Two points in OT win
Pastrnak scored a power-play goal and assisted on the game-winner in Saturday's 4-3 overtime victory over the Maple Leafs.
Pastrnak has goals in back-to-back games and three points during that span. He has six goals, two assists and 39 shots through nine games this campaign. Pastrnak has surpassed the 100-point plateau in consecutive regular seasons, and he should pick up his scoring pace soon.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Tallies in loss
Pastrnak scored a goal on seven shots, added four PIM and logged three hits in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Stars.
Pastrnak had gone two games without a point before scoring in the first period. Pastrnak has five goals, one assist, 35 shots on net, six hits, 14 PIM and a minus-3 over eight contests. The Bruins are off to a middling 3-4-1 start, but Pastrnak's ability to score and produce a high shot volume remain a large positive as the team tries to turn things around.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Buries power-play goal
Pastrnak scored a power-play goal on five shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Pastrnak's three-game point streak ended Monday, but he didn't take long to get back on the scoresheet. The 28-year-old winger has four goals, one assist, 20 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over five appearances. While some top goal scorers have struggled early in 2024-25, Pastrnak is humming along. He's reached 40 goals in four of the last five years and has earned 100 points in two straight seasons, so he's as reliable as they come in fantasy.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: One of each in win
Pastrnak scored a goal on six shots and had an assist in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Canadiens.
Somehow, the Montreal defense allowed Pastrnak to camp out in the slot, and he delivered one-timer for his second goal in as many games. He earlier had assisted on Elias Lindholm's first goal as a member of the Bruins. The sniper has 11 shots through two games.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Scores in season-opening loss
Pastrnak scored a goal on five shots and posted a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Panthers.
Pastrnak's goal brought the Bruins within two with 1:45 left in the third period. The 28-year-old winger put up 47 goals, 63 assists, 382 shots on net and a plus-21 rating over 82 regular-season games in 2023-24. He's reached 110 points in back-to-back years, and while another 60-goal season might be a stretch, the Czech winger is one of the best and most consistent goal-scorers in the league.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Two helpers Tuesday
Pastrnak picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-1 preseason win over the Flyers.
While Boston's roster is undergoing a lot of changes this season, Pastrnak remains the heart of the offense, and he was the only Bruin to record multiple points Tuesday. The 28-year-old has scored at least 40 goals in each of his last four full seasons and delivered at least 110 points in each of the last two campaigns, and if he gels quickly with new center Elias Lindholm, there's little reason to think Pastrnak won't approach that kind of production again in 2024-25.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Draws helper in Game 1
Pastrnak provided an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.
Pastrnak's shot caused some chaos in front of Sergei Bobrovsky, who was able to turn it aside. Pavel Zacha then touched it over to Morgan Geekie, who ripped it in for the Bruins' first goal. Pastrnak had some big moments in the first round -- including the game-winning goal in Game 7 -- but he's been quiet by his standards with six points through eight playoff contests. The winger has added 27 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-2 rating while playing in his usual top-six role.
