Wild's Devin Shore: Called up Sunday
Shore was recalled from AHL Iowa on Sunday, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Shore has yet to make an NHL appearance this season. The Ontario native chipped in one goal and three assists over 21 regular-season games with the Kraken in 2023-24. Shore was recalled alongside Ben Jones, so one of the forwards could draw into the lineup Tuesday against the Blues if Joel Eriksson Ek isn't ready to return from a lower-body injury.

Wild's Devin Shore: Agrees to two-way deal
Shore signed a one-year, two-way contract with Minnesota on Monday.
Shore has played in 443 NHL games over the course of his nine-year NHL career, so he should at least get a look during training camp. Still, the fact that the Wild weren't willing to offer the 29-year-old center a one-way contract should be telling regarding their plans for him. Even when he has played in the NHL, Shore's usage has been minimal -- he's logged less than 10 minutes per game in each of the last three seasons.

Still, his fantasy appeal is limited to the very deepest of pools.

Kraken's Devin Shore: Puts up assist
Shore notched an assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Kings.
Shore has a helper in each of the last two contests, accounting for all of his offense over six games since he was recalled from AHL Coachella Valley. The 29-year-old has maintained a spot on the Kraken's fourth line. He may be at risk of being sent down once Jordan Eberle (lower body) returns to the lineup, as the Kraken traded for Tomas Tatar on Friday, crowding the forward group. Shore has four points, 10 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-3 rating over 15 NHL appearances this season.

Kraken's Devin Shore: Gathers helper in win
Shore logged an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-1 win over the Blackhawks.
This was Shore's third point of the season and his first in five games since his most recent recall from AHL Coachella Valley. The Kraken spent much of November rotating call-ups through the fourth line spots, but Shore has shown the most staying power there this campaign. He's at three points, 10 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-2 rating over 14 appearances. Fantasy managers shouldn't turn to the 29-year-old, as his limited role is unlikely to be useful in the virtual game.

The 28-year-old Shore hasn't added much offense this season with eight points, 26 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 38 contests in a bottom-six role. As such, fantasy managers are unlikely to be concerned about his production unless he can continue this hot stretch for an extended time.

Shore logged an assist and three shots on goal in Monday's 3-2 win over the Sabres.
Shore has a helper in each of his last two games, which is serving to keep him in the lineup. The 28-year-old forward has just seven points with 26 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-6 rating through 37 contests overall. His place in the lineup could be in jeopardy once Evander Kane (upper body) can return, especially if head coach Jay Woodcroft opts to return to the seven-defensemen lineups that have brought the Oilers success in 2023.

Oilers' Devin Shore: Delivers helper in loss
Shore notched an assist in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Jets.
Shore assisted on Nick Bjugstad's first goal as an Oiler at 2:55 of the third period.
