Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Generates power-play helper
Reichel notched a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Ducks.
Reichel has a helper in consecutive contests after assisting on a Seth Jones tally in the second period. The 22-year-old Reichel continues to see limited minutes at even strength, but he's playing on the power play to give him a little more scoring potential. He now has a goal, five assists, 16 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over nine appearances.

Reichel scored a goal in Monday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.
The goal was Reichel's first of the season. The 22-year-old was back in a fourth-line role Monday after threatening to move up over the weekend, though he also remains in the power-play mix. Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Manages helper in loss
Reichel logged an assist in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Predators.
Reichel set up Craig Smith's goal early in the first period, as those two forwards continue to click in limited roles. The 22-year-old Reichel has three assists, nine shots on net, three blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over four appearances this season. If he continues to play well, he could move up the lineup, though anything less than a top-line role will lead to too little offense to be helpful in fantasy.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Dishes two assists
Reichel notched two assists and four shots on goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres.
The 22-year-old winger set up a pair of goals by Craig Smith in Saturday's contest. Reichel was scratched for four straight games to start the year and has played on the fourth line for the last two contests. While it's good that he's playing, seeing limited ice time in the NHL on a rebuilding team isn't necessarily a positive for a player that would likely benefit from more development in the AHL. He had just 16 points in 65 regular-season contests in 2023-24, though that mostly came from seeing middle-six minutes.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Signs two-year extension
Reichel signed a two-year, $2.4 million contract extension with the Blackhawks on Tuesday.
Reichel hasn't really lived up to expectations since being selected 17th overall in the 2020 Entry Draft -- he logged a career-high 65 games at the NHL level in 2023-24, but the 21-year-old forward managed just five goals and 16 points while posting an ugly minus-29 rating over that span. Reichel will likely be a full-time NHLer in 2024-25, but if he doesn't get his game together at the top level soon, he may not last with the Blackhawks beyond this two-year extension.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Buries goal Thursday
Reichel scored a goal in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kings.
Reichel showed some life late in the season with two goals and three assists over the last nine contests. His tally Thursday opened the scoring. He wraps up with 16 points, 84 shots on net and a minus-29 rating over 65 appearances, mainly in a middle-six role. At 21 years old, there's still time for Reichel to get his scoring touch on track at the NHL level, and he'll have every chance to make the Blackhawks' roster out of training camp in the fall.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Nabs helper Tuesday
Reichel posted an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks.
Reichel went eight games without a point and was scratched twice in that span. The 21-year-old has been limited to bottom-six usage lately as the Blackhawks try to get him to take the next step at the NHL level. He's earned a paltry 10 points with 63 shots on net and a minus-28 rating over 50 appearances in his first full campaign.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Supplies assist in loss
Reichel notched an assist in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Jets.
Reichel snapped a six-game point drought with the helper. Considering the Blackhawks' offense has been poor at best lately, extended point droughts for the team's depth players can be expected. The 21-year-old winger has not enjoyed the 2023-24 campaign much with nine points, 58 shots on net and a minus-24 rating through 41 appearances. His spot in the lineup is safe with all the injuries to Chicago forwards, but he's best left off fantasy rosters in redraft formats, while his appeal in keeper leagues is starting to wane.

Reichel tallied a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to Tampa Bay.

The 21-year-old Reichel now has a goal and an assist in his last two games after opening the year with just one point (an assist) in his first 12 games. Despite his slow offensive start, Reichel should continue to see top-six minutes in addition to a role on Chicago's top power-play unit.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sitting with one point
Reichel has recorded one point, 23 shots and six blocks in 11 games this season.
Reichel has been getting opportunities with the man advantage, logging 1:50 of ice time per game on the power play, but he's continued to struggle to produce offensively. If the young winger doesn't start finding the scoresheet soon, he could see himself dropped from the top six in favor of veterans Taylor Hall or Tyler Johnson.
