  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Generates power-play helper

Reichel notched a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Ducks. Reichel has a helper in consecutive contests after assisting on a Seth Jones tally in the second period. The 22-year-old Reichel continues to see limited minutes at even strength, but he's playing on the power play to give him a little more scoring potential. He now has a goal, five assists, 16 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over nine appearances.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Finds twine in win

Reichel scored a goal in Monday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche. The goal was Reichel's first of the season. The 22-year-old was back in a fourth-line role Monday after threatening to move up over the weekend, though he also remains in the power-play mix. Despite limited minutes, he's done fairly well so far, earning four points, 11 shots on net, three hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over six contests since he entered the lineup Oct. 17.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Manages helper in loss

Reichel logged an assist in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Predators. Reichel set up Craig Smith's goal early in the first period, as those two forwards continue to click in limited roles. The 22-year-old Reichel has three assists, nine shots on net, three blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over four appearances this season. If he continues to play well, he could move up the lineup, though anything less than a top-line role will lead to too little offense to be helpful in fantasy.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Dishes two assists

Reichel notched two assists and four shots on goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres. The 22-year-old winger set up a pair of goals by Craig Smith in Saturday's contest. Reichel was scratched for four straight games to start the year and has played on the fourth line for the last two contests. While it's good that he's playing, seeing limited ice time in the NHL on a rebuilding team isn't necessarily a positive for a player that would likely benefit from more development in the AHL. He had just 16 points in 65 regular-season contests in 2023-24, though that mostly came from seeing middle-six minutes.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Buries goal Thursday

Reichel scored a goal in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kings. Reichel showed some life late in the season with two goals and three assists over the last nine contests. His tally Thursday opened the scoring. He wraps up with 16 points, 84 shots on net and a minus-29 rating over 65 appearances, mainly in a middle-six role. At 21 years old, there's still time for Reichel to get his scoring touch on track at the NHL level, and he'll have every chance to make the Blackhawks' roster out of training camp in the fall.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Contributes helper in loss

Reichel notched an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Hurricanes. Reichel has four points over his last seven contests while seeing middle-six minutes in that span. The 21-year-old winger is up to 15 points through 63 outings, matching his output from 23 games a year ago. Needless to say, Reichel has not taken the expected next step in 2023-24. He's added 82 shots on net, a minus-30 rating, 25 hits and 25 blocked shots.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sent to AHL

Reichel was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Sunday. Reichel had been a healthy scratch for Chicago's last two games after going 20 games without a goal, tallying just three assists in that span. Reichel, a first-round pick in 2020, will now head to the AHL to continue his development. The 21-year-old winger has three goals and 10 points in 50 NHL games this season.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Nabs helper Tuesday

Reichel posted an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks. Reichel went eight games without a point and was scratched twice in that span. The 21-year-old has been limited to bottom-six usage lately as the Blackhawks try to get him to take the next step at the NHL level. He's earned a paltry 10 points with 63 shots on net and a minus-28 rating over 50 appearances in his first full campaign.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores in Tuesday's win

Reichel scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche. Reichel snapped an eight-game point drought with the first-period marker. He looked solid throughout the contest, which saw him take multiple shots on net for the first time since Dec. 2. The 21-year-old winger hasn't had much success in 2023-24, posting three goals, four assists, 44 shots on net, 10 PIM and a minus-19 rating over 30 appearances.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores first of season

Reichel tallied a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to Tampa Bay. Reichel opened the scoring in the first period, deflecting a Philipp Kurashev shot past Jonas Johansson on the man advantage for his first goal of the season. The 21-year-old Reichel now has a goal and an assist in his last two games after opening the year with just one point (an assist) in his first 12 games. Despite his slow offensive start, Reichel should continue to see top-six minutes in addition to a role on Chicago's top power-play unit.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sitting with one point

Reichel has recorded one point, 23 shots and six blocks in 11 games this season. Reichel has been getting opportunities with the man advantage, logging 1:50 of ice time per game on the power play, but he's continued to struggle to produce offensively. If the young winger doesn't start finding the scoresheet soon, he could see himself dropped from the top six in favor of veterans Taylor Hall or Tyler Johnson.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores in loss

Reichel scored a goal on five shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks. Reichel cut Chicago's deficit to 3-2 late in the third period, stuffing a loose puck past Collin Delia. The 20-year-old Reichel now has five goals and nine points in 17 games this season. While he hasn't provided consistent scoring, the 2020 first-round pick should continue to see first-line usage in Chicago down the stretch.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Nets goal in win

Reichel scored a goal and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-0 win over the Senators. Reichel has a goal and an assist over three games since he rejoined the Blackhawks following their trade-deadline sell-off. The 20-year-old has stepped into a top-line role alongside Philipp Kurashev and Andreas Athanasiou -- the latter set up Reichel's insurance goal in the third period Monday. Reichel is up to two goals, five points, 12 shots on net, six blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through seven NHL appearances this season.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Back in NHL

Reichel was recalled from AHL Rockford on Thursday. Reichel is one of the Blackhawks' top prospects -- he was selected in the first round, 17th overall, in 2020. Reichel has a goal and three points in four NHL games this season, and he's added 17 goals and 46 points in 51 AHL games. Reichel should get a great chance to showcase his abilities the rest of the season as the Blackhawks dealt Patrick Kane to the Rangers on Tuesday and should be looking to evaluate their youngsters the rest of the way.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sent to AHL

Reichel was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Friday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Reichel returned for three games -- Patrick Kane suffered a lower-body injury -- and had a goal and two assists, all against Calgary on Monday. The 20-year-old was drafted 17th overall in 2020 and was lighting the AHL on fire with 14 goals and 36 points in 32 games before his recall. He should return to the Blackhawks before the end of the season.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sent back down

Reichel was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Wednesday. Reichel's demotion is likely an indication that Jonathan Toews (illness) will be ready to go for Friday's matchup with Winnipeg. In the minors, the 20-year-old Reichel has been lighting it up with 10 goals and 13 assists in 19 contests. He should remain atop the list of potential call-ups throughout the rest of the season when needed.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Surprise cut from camp

Reichel was assigned to AHL Rockford on Tuesday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Reichel, who's considered to be Chicago's top prospect, was expected by many to make the big club's Opening Night roster, but general manager Kyle Davidson wants to be patient with the organization's young talent, and he evidently believes Reichel's development will be better served by taking on a featured role with Rockford rather than a limited role with the rebuilding Blackhawks, at least to start the season. From a fantasy perspective, Reichel remains an attractive asset in dynasty formats, but his viability in redraft leagues for the 2022-23 campaign looks iffy at best at this point.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Back with big club

Reichel was called up from AHL Rockford on Tuesday. Reichel will get his third stint with the Blackhawks this season. He's been excellent with 21 goals and 28 assists in 49 games with Rockford, but he's still in search for his first point at the NHL level. The 19-year-old could draw into the lineup as soon as Thursday's game versus the Kraken.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Recalled Friday

Reichel was recalled from AHL Rockford on Friday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports. The No. 17 overall pick from 2020 made his NHL debut in January, going scoreless in a pair of games. Reichel has been dynamite with the IceHogs, reeling off 33 points in 33 games -- all before his 20th birthday. If he gets another look in the Blackhawks lineup, he could make for a sneaky DFS play.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Reassigned to AHL Rockford

Reichel was demoted from the active roster to AHL Rockford on Sunday, Carter Baum of the Blackhawks' official site reports. Reichel has averaged 15:23 of ice time -- 1:08 during the power play -- and has been held without a point over his two NHL appearances. The 19-year-old has tallied 20 points over 20 appearances with AHL Rockford this season.
