  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Earns two points in loss

Raymond scored a goal on two shots and dished a power-play assist in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Ducks. Raymond's goal put the Red Wings ahead 3-1 in the second period, and he helped out on an Alex DeBrincat tally in the third after Detroit fell behind. The goal was Raymond's second of the year, though he has six assists during a seven-game goal drought. The winger is at 16 points (nine on the power play), 27 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 16 appearances. He's too talented to be held down by bad luck all season, so expect a rebound in scoring at some point.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Stays warm with assist

Raymond provided an assist in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks. Raymond has a goal and seven assists over his last six games, with five of those eight points coming on the power play. The 22-year-old winger continues to shuffle between the first and second lines, trading places with Patrick Kane regularly, but both are part of the first power-play unit. Raymond has been an excellent playmaker with a goal and 11 assists through 12 outings, but he was a 30-goal scorer last year and is shooting just 5.3 percent, so things should eventually balance out a bit.

Raymond picked up two power-play assists in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Jets. Both points came in the second period, but Detroit was already in a 3-0 hole before its offense got rolling. Raymond has three multi-point performances in the last four games, and through 10 contests on the season the 22-year-old winger has a goal and 10 points.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Two points including shortie

Raymond scored a shorthanded goal and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres. The second-period tally was the first shortie of Raymond's career, and his first goal of the season. The 22-year-old has had a strong start to 2024-25, collecting eight points in eight games. Half of that production has come on special teams, as Raymond's dished three power-play assists.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Two apples in win

Raymond produced two power-play assists in Thursday's 5-3 win against the Devils. Raymond added two PIM and a plus-1 rating in 20:27 of ice time. The Swedish forward had been held off the scoresheet in back-to-back games before setting up a couple of tallies Thursday. Raymond potted 31 goals over 82 regular-season games in 2023-24, but he hasn't found the back of the net through seven appearances this season. The 22-year-old has collected six helpers and a plus-2 rating while serving on the top line and No. 1 power-play unit.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Records assist Thursday

Raymond notched an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Rangers. Raymond has four helpers and 11 shots on net through four contests this season. That's a bit of bad luck to not have a goal yet, but the 22-year-old is still involved in the offense. While he saw just 15:26 of ice time in Thursday's loss, Raymond is a virtual lock to remain in a top-six role throughout the year after signing an eight-year contract with a cap hit just north of $8 million in September.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Strong finish to season

Raymond posted an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Canadiens. Raymond was Detroit's best player in April, as he delivered seven goals and 12 points through eight contests. Fans of the Winged Wheel were given a renewed sense of hope that their team would be playoff bound in large part to Raymond's game-tying goal against the Penguins last Thursday and his overtime tally versus the Habs on Monday, but the Capitals snuck into the postseason instead by virtue of beating the Flyers in their regular-season finale. Raymond's third season included 31 goals, 41 assists and 16 power-play points through 82 games. He will be a restricted free agent this summer.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Goes off with four points

Raymond earned a hat trick to complement an assist in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Penguins. Raymond deposited two backhand goals in the first period, and his breakaway tally in the third frame tied the score at 5-5 to ultimately force overtime. He also was the primary distributor on Detroit's penultimate goal, finding captain Dylan Larkin at the doorstep. Raymond's competitiveness has been off the charts of late, with the four-point night extending his season-long total to 68 points (29 goals, 39 assists) through 79 games. While it's still anyone's guess on whether the Wings will have enough grit to claim a wild-card playoff spot, it's safe to assume that Raymond will soon command a huge raise as a restricted free agent cashing out the balance of a three-year deal worth $3.425 million annually.

Raymond notched one goal and one assist in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Buffalo. Raymond opened the scoring just 53 seconds into the contest. He also set up a power-play goal by Dylan Larkin in the first period to give Detroit a 3-0 lead. Raymond concluded the contest with five shots on goal in 21:14 of ice time. Detroit's triumph moved the team into the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, but there will be plenty of competition for that spot down the stretch. Raymond scored his 20th goal of the season in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Sabres. His empty-net tally put the finishing touches on a big win for the Red Wings against one of the teams chasing them for a wild-card spot. Raymond has found the back of the net in three straight games, and the surge has given him 20 goals on the campaign, the second time in his three NHL seasons he's reached that mark. The 21-year-old winger is also two points away from tying the career-high 57 he racked up as a rookie.

Raymond contributed two assists, including one on the power play, in Friday's 7-6 shootout win over the Flyers. Raymond was heavily involved in a busy first period which included six goals between the teams, plus he converted Detroit's first goal in the shootout. The burgeoning winger is trying to find his groove following the team's acquisition of Patrick Kane, but talent alone makes Raymond a near lock to remain in the top six. With 10 goals, 16 assists and seven power-play points through 33 games, Raymond is on track to make his third season the best one yet.
