  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Facing Blackhawks

Kolosov will be between the home pipes versus Chicago on Saturday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Kolosov gave up three goals on 29 shots in a 3-2 loss to Colorado on Monday. The young netminder is 0-4-0 with a 3.72 GAA and an .872 save percentage this season. He'll likely be sent to the minors upon the return of Samuel Ersson (lower body), who is considered day-to-day and could be cleared for game action soon. The Blackhawks are averaging 2.35 goals per game.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Falls to Avs

Kolosov made 26 saves in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Avalanche. After holding Colorado off the board in the first period, Kolosov gave up two tallies to Cale Makar in the second, one of which pinballed off the skate of at least one Philly defenseman on its way to the back of the net. The 22-year-old netminder is still looking for his first NHL win, going 0-4-0 in four starts with a 3.72 GAA and an .872 save percentage, but with Samuel Ersson (lower body) on IR, Kolosov will get more opportunities to pick it up as he splits the workload in the crease with Ivan Fedotov.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: In backup role Thursday

Kolosov (lower body) will serve as the No. 2 option versus Ottawa on Thursday behind Ivan Fedotov, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Kolosov will fill in for Samuel Ersson, who is dealing with a minor undisclosed injury and won't dress for Thursday's matchup. The 22-year-old Kolosov is still looking for his first win of the season, having gone 0-3-0 with a 3.93 GAA and .863 save percentage to start the campaign. Once the Flyers' netminders are back to 100 percent, Kolosov could be headed for AHL Lehigh Valley.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Unavailable Thursday

Kolosov, who was initially announced as the starter for Thursday's road tilt against Tampa Bay, will miss the game due to a lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day beyond that. Ivan Fedotov will play between the pipes Thursday. Kyle Konin has signed an amateur tryout to serve as the emergency backup goaltender. • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Starter status in doubt

Kolosov, who was announced by the Flyers as the starter against Tampa Bay on Thursday, appears to have suffered an undisclosed injury during the game-day skate, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. Kolosov's status as the starter should probably be considered doubtful at this point. Even if it is a minor issue, the team almost certainly wouldn't want to risk him and would go with Ivan Fedotov instead. Still, fantasy players may have to wait until warmups at this point to determine who will be between the pipes versus the Bolts on Thursday.
