Kaprizov's tally came just six seconds after Martin Necas opened the scoring for the Avalanche. Through eight playoff outings, Kaprizov is up to three goals, eight assists, 20 shots on net, 15 hits and a plus-8 rating. He's been held to two points over two contests in Colorado, but he may have more success if his line draws better matchups on home ice in Games 3 and 4.

The superstar winger had a hand in a first-period tally by Brock Faber before Kaprizov helped set up Matt Boldy's OT winner. Kaprizov has racked up a goal and six points in the first four games of the series heading into Game 5 on Tuesday back in Dallas.

The Minnesota superstar gave his team a 2-0 lead just 56 seconds into the second period, finding the top corner over Jake Oettinger's shoulder from below the faceoff dot, before he helped set up tallies by Matt Boldy and Joel Eriksson Ek. Kaprizov has clicked into gear in April, and over seven games this month, he's produced four multi-point performances while amassing seven goals and 11 points.
Kaprizov (rest) was on the top line and No. 1 power-play unit for Thursday's practice, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Kaprizov was given the Wild's last two games off in order to rest up for a postseason run. In his last seven outings, the Russian winger has found the back of the net seven times, including a pair of goals against the Stars on April 9. He'll need to continue to produce at that level in order to get Minnesota past Dallas in its first-round series.
Kaprizov (rest) is out of the lineup Tuesday versus the Ducks, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.
Kaprizov will miss a second straight game. He ends the regular season at 45 goals, 89 points and 268 shots on net over 78 appearances. He'll be refreshed for Game 1 of the playoffs versus the Stars.

Kaprizov won't play Monday against St. Louis for rest purposes, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
The Wild have clinched a playoff spot and will rest Kaprizov and several other key contributors during the penultimate game of the regular season. The 28-year-old has produced multi-point performances in three of six appearances this month, recording six goals, two assists, five hits and three blocked shots while averaging 20:22 of ice time across that span. It's not yet clear whether Kaprizov will suit up Tuesday against Anaheim, but he should at least return to action for the start of the postseason.
